Rylie bit her lip. 2 days ago, Aly didn't come back. Even though she misses those blue eyes so much. She just couldn't bring herself to mind link Aly. Her wolf still needs to recover in order to fight the Lobo form again. What if Aly wants them to do another mission together? It would be difficult to explain her limp in her wolf form.

But she was still worried about the pack. Will they be able to capture were-witches for the heretic's experiment? What if it failed? She wished she was there to help the pack.

She looked out of the window and bit her lip.

Her journal about the Lobo form is still on-going and she noticed that she was now more aware of her surroundings. After becoming a werewolf made her senses became sharp, but it was even sharper when she fought the Lobo form inside her mind. It was crisper now that she was in her human form. She felt like she could take on 2 were-witches at the same time. But there's no way she could test that theory right now. Her wolf is still injured and there's no way she was in the right shape.

They need to hurry up about finding a solution if they needed to save more people from being killed and becoming a rat lab.

2 days ago. There was another incident that happened that made her want to be strong enough to attack who did it.

"What happened?"

Rylie parted the people that gathered inside a classroom and she almost choke on her saliva when she saw two persons lying down with their pool of blood. It was the two students who are whispering about Agatha.

"Oh my God. Their necks are torn open. I don't think it's a rabid dog at all."

"Remember the headlines about wolves being spotted in our little town? M-Maybe it's the wolf."

"O-Or a werewolf."

The whole student looked at each other before looking at her.

"Her father made research about the werewolf being true. M-Maybe he's right." The first student from her right side with glasses grabbed her arms. "Is it true?! It's true right?!"

"Oh my God!" The guy with glasses put a hand to his head. "We need to arm ourselves against this werewolf!"

The whole student was panicking and Rylie doesn't know what to do. Should she just run away? Or tell them the truth? But even though she tells them will they believe it? Will they accept the fact that there are things not natural in the world?

Just then she felt a tug on her arms and before she knew it. She was dragged away from the scene.

Rylie looked to the woman who dragged her away and she recognized right away the black hair.

"Agatha?"

"I'm sorry. I saw how they harassed you. People are becoming insane more and more these days. They are just delusional. Werewolf? Come on."

Agatha smiled at her and stopped walking.

Rylie winced. She still is being awkward in Agatha's presence because of what happened. She still doesn't know what to say to Agatha about liking her.

"I-It's alright. My father's researched is well known among our little town. Maybe that's why they out casted me before." Ryle chuckled. Her father is pretty popular for the wrong things but she was proud of her father then. But now she's still fighting with herself to reconcile the proud feeling she has and the guilt for what happened.

Rylie was knocked out of her reverie when she heard a knock on her door.

Her eyebrows furrowed then she looked towards the window to confirm that it wasn't Aly. Because clearly Aly wouldn't knock on her mother's home and invite herself in. Aly just showed up down her window.

So who it is?

Rylie walked towards the door and turned the knob. The smiling face of her mother greeted her.

"Mom?"

"Hi. There's someone here looking for you."

"Who?"

"H-Hi?" Just then Agatha came into view and Rylie's mouth hang open.

She shifted her eyes from her mother to Agatha. Her grandmother is out of the house grocery shopping and her mother and her was left alone. And she just can't help but wonder why Agatha is here. It's the weekends.

"Before you ask what I'm doing here. I want to ask you out to go for a walk. Promise no expectations or whatsoever."

Rylie opened her mouth. "Agatha I..."

There was a look of hurt in Agatha's face that mad Rylie bit her lip and sighed.

"Let's go. Where are you taking me anyway?"

Agatha's face brightens up. "Just walk in the park. Is it alright with you? I just want to catch up and maybe... you know. You'll like me in return."

Her mother looked at the two of them before quirking her lips up. Rylie glared at her mother. If only her mother knew that she was already mated to Aly. She won't be letting her daughter come with someone like Agatha.

She knew she was threading on dangerous water in going out with Agatha but there's nothing she could do right now but be a normal teenager for a while. Maybe Agatha is a needed distraction from the looming doom she felt these past few days.

Rylie nodded.

Agatha smiled at her and Rylie couldn't help but noticed the giddiness in the brunette's face. She followed Agatha down the stairs and her mother winked at her before walking into the kitchen.

Rylie shook her head. If only her mother knew. Should she just present Aly as her girlfriend and sometimes not girlfriend type?

---------

"Ry.... After the summer. I think I have matured enough." Agatha rubbed her hands together then looked at her.

Agatha brought her to a nearby park and they brought hotdogs on a stick while walking. Rylie chewed the hotdog and looked forward. She just can't look into Agatha's eyes right now. She felt guilty that she came with the brunette in this walk while her minds are full of Aly's and the pack's.

"In what ways?"

Agatha laughed. "Well. I think that science is what makes me happy. But I noticed that I wasn't living a life because I am a nerd. So I changed and here I am. But you never changed. You changed physically yes but you are still into Artifacts and science. I like that about you."

"Then you could be like me. You can still like Archaeology and be into science even though physically you're changed."

The brunette shook her head. "Well... I found out that I don't really like science and archaeology that much. I want to go modelling."

Rylie looked at Agatha with her mouth open. "You? Modelling?"

Agatha nodded her head smiling. "Yeah, why not?"

She realized that she also missed talking to Agatha this way. Contrary to what her mother believed she had a friend. It was Agatha but the brunette was too shy to come to her house, before. This is the first time that Agatha had the courage to show herself.

"Well, I'll always be proud of you, Agatha."

Agatha suddenly turned towards her and hugged her. Rylie was frozen for a while until she realized that she shouldn't be doing this.

Her werewolf started snarling inside her mind and she felt like she was cheating on Aly.

She bit her lip and looked around. Shit. If someone from the pack saw them she's doomed. Aly and her parted ways last time in bad terms now it's gonna be worse.

Rylie held Agatha's shoulder and put some distance between them.

"Agatha I—I'm sorry."

Agatha bowed her head down. "I'm sorry. I'm too sudden am I?"

Rylie shook her head. "It's not that I just felt uncomfortable with you hugging me like this in public."

"Oh." Agatha looked around and realized that she was right. There's people around and now staring at the two of them.

Rylie chewed her bottom lip. At least Agatha didn't push through with what she wants.
