CHAPTER 69

(Aly's POV)

Aly shook her head wide-eyed as Rylie's eyes became a bloody red. The pupils in her eyes are now filled with blood, and her nails are longer than the average werewolf.

Rylie wasn't even fully transformed yet! She had red eyes and long nails but was not massively built like the usual level two werewolf.

It was one of the legendary forms a werewolf can take, and apparently, Aly found out now that when a werewolf is angry, they can transform into this kind of creature. This is the first time that she had set eyes on one of the legendary forms told by the elders.

Then it set its eyes on her. Aly felt panic rise up inside her. Her wolf rang an alarm bell inside her mind. She had to get out of here!

Run!

Aly took off as soon as Rylie lay down Thomas's body.

Her eyes widened when she saw how fast Rylie was as she caught up to her. Aly ducked as soon as Rylie's claw slashed through her neck. She looked back, and the statue behind her was sliced easily, like butter.

Sh*t!

"Rylie! Listen to me!" Aly put her hands out to try and get Rylie to stop, but it was no use.

Rylie moved fast as she blurred in for the kill. Aly jumped back, and she felt a sting on her right cheek. The wall behind her collapsed when Rylie rammed towards it.

Her eyes widened as she wiped the blood away. Sh*t! If this goes on, she will get killed, and Rylie will feel guilty for her death!

"I am not your enemy! The leader of the coven killed your father and not me!"

Rylie stopped and tilted her head.

Aly cautiously looked to both of her sides. If she can't convince Rylie, she will have to find the possible exit route until Rylie can calm down. But what Aly's saying can get through somehow. She just had to convince Rylie and make her go back to normal.

"I am your mate. Please... if you are the wolf right now. You knew that it wasn't me. You are supposed to exact your revenge. Her father's killer is there."

Aly pointed in the direction where Alpha Gab and Kelly went.

Rylie snarled one last time.

Aly stood there. Then before she knew it. Rylie took off in the direction she pointed out. Aly shook her head. Sh*t! She needs to follow Rylie, or she will regret it in the morning!

Aly looked at Rylie's form, and she couldn't help but bite her lip. She couldn't keep up with her form like this.

Rylie is so fast.

She needs to transform into her werewolf form.

She hit the ground with her paw when she transformed.

She looked at Rylie's back. She could taste and smell the anger from Rylie's body, and she knew it wasn't a good thing. She doesn't want Rylie to regret everything. Good thing that she was able to stop Rylie from killing her.

After running, she stopped when she saw what was happening around them. Lina, the Elders, and the other pack members are gathered before the coven leader, and it was four against one!

The coven leader was able to fend them off, and he looked hideous with his level two werewolf form while blasting magical energy around him.

Alpha Gab!

Alpha Gab looked at her. Where's Rylie?

That one!

Like a blur, Rylie jumped in between the fight and kicked the coven leader in the face, sending him flying to the other side. But the coven leader was able to stop his motion mid-air and skidded to the grounds.

Dust flew all around them, and Aly had to shield her eyes from the debris that could get into her eyes.

Alpha Gab and the rest fighting the leader of the coven were shocked. She saw how their mouth hung open with what Rylie did.

"My...my... someone worthy to be my opponent."

The leader of the coven dusted his suit and looked at Rylie. His eyes glinting evilly.

Aly gritted her teeth. Must protect, mate!

She also wants to do what her wolf wants her to do, but Rylie is beyond helping now. Rylie needs to control herself to strategies against the enemy. If she helped, she would only slow down Rylie.

Kelly's wolf looked at Aly.

"I-Is that, Rylie?"

"Yes." Aly looked at Kelly and nodded her head.

"Isn't that the Lobo form?"

Kelly also knew about the legend? Aly nodded her head. Their suspicion was confirmed when the elders gasped.

"Lobo! It's the Lobo form!"

Aly looked around her, and she remembered Mace. She looked at Kelly. "Where's Macey?"

"They took her! We were stopped by this coven leader."

She saw how Kelly's eyes shoot a daggered look in the leader of the coven's way.

"What are you waiting for!? Go get to her."

Kelly nodded her head and went to the right side, but before she could go there, the coven leader blasted a fire that ignited the trees. Kelly looked away from the glare, stepped toward the other side but was prevented from doing so. And tried to get through to a bush that hadn't yet caught on fire. But she was stopped by another witch.

Aly ran towards Kelly and transformed in mid-air. She slashed the face of the witch, but he was able to evade it.

She went to Kelly's rescue because clearly, Rylie can match the coven leader with her new form.

Even though he was in his were-witch form, the coven leader couldn't get past Rylie. This gave them a chance to take on other enemies.

Aly snarled at the witch. Go towards the other side of the bush! There's not a fire there. You can run after that bastard who took Macey.

Where did they take my baby!?

Mace's father stood beside them, and Aly nodded towards Kelly's direction.

Aly blocked the witch when it tried to go after Kelly and Mace's father.

Her lips tugged up in a corner. "I am your enemy, witch."

"Get out of my way, dog!"

Her eyes widened when it gathered blue energy in its hands. She evaded the blast and ducked to the side. But before she could take a step. The witch transformed in front of her. She also became a level two werewolf!

With an increased speed, the witch slashed through her neck, but she was able to evade its attack. Aly winced when she felt a sting on her cheeks. But before she could really get far away. The witch jumped backward and landed on her back. Its' claws dug on her right shoulder. The witch was able to prick her with a long nail and deepen the hold on her shoulder.

Blood gushed out of her shoulders, and she shook her body off just to get the witch off of her shoulders. She could feel her furs stand on end as she felt an electric sensation all around her.

The witch is about to launch a lightning bolt towards her!

Aly quickly transformed into her human form and rolled forward, sending the witch tumbling to the other side.

She looked back, and her eyes widened in fear as she saw the charred ground.

Sh*t!

She looked back towards the witch and clutched her right shoulder to stop the bleeding.

The witch shook its head and snarled at her.

Aly bit her lip. She's no match for a Were-witch!
