Kelly's POV
This is bad!
Kelly took a step back. She looked behind her.
There was no one to help her. Hunter and Helga are still busy fending off the attacks of the children and fighting the 2 witches. Same with Hanna and Nathan.
Mace jumped towards the were-witch leader's side, and it made Kelly's shoulder tense.
"Macey. If you are still, there. I need you to know that if I die. You don't have to blame yourself, ok?"
Mace tilted her head. Her hands shaking in front of her. Then tears slowly raced its way out of the kids eyes.
Kelly felt her heart squeezed.
Is she finally getting through Mace?
Kelly closed her fist in anticipation. She needs to push Macey back. A little bit more.
Macey. Remember who you are. Your father and your mother are here! Please!
Remember!
The leader looked at their interaction and pointed his hands back towards the circle. After looking at her. Mace followed him. She crouched there, not moving, and had a blank expression on her face.
Kelly closed her fist and glared at the were-witch when he looked in her direction. She took a step back. His powers are so overwhelming without even a display of glowing lights.
She can feel her knees shake, and she put a hand to it to stop it from shaking.
"Now, it's just you and me." He smirked then he rubbed his hands altogether.
Like a parasite invading her system, she became dizzy when his voice entered her mind. It shouldn't surprise her anymore that he could mind-link her, but the action is so disorienting that it feels like her mind has resisted but then broke down.
He snapped his fingers then two of the children bit their hands and put their blood in his outstretched hands. Blood dripped from his overflowing hands, and Kelly gritted her teeth, then closed her fist in anger.
The kids had a blank expression on their faces like Mace as they waited for the leader's instruction.
Her heart squeezed in anger. She'll make sure that he will die by her hands!
Just when everything inside her was about to burst. She ran towards him. Her fist was poised to punch him.
He rubbed the blood together and muttered a spell under his breath.
Kelly punched him, but he held his glowing hands in front of her.
Her mouth hung open in shock as the invisible force pushed her back.
The force was too strong that she was lifted like a dried leaf being blown by the wind. She looked behind her to try and stop her collision from the tree behind her. But she was unable to put a stop to her motion.
Shi*t! Think, Kelly!
Then an idea pops into her head. Her body transformed in mid-air. Her hair became fur, her nails and her teeth began extending. Then when she was in her full form. Her back collided with the tree. She made an oomph sound before sliding down the tree's body.
She whimpered in pain.
Sh*t! Her body felt like it was run over by a car.
She squinted and pulled her body off the ground. Then shook her head to stop the haze from her mind. But still her body felt like a train wreck.
