(Hyndor's POV)
Hyndor looked at Recia as she dropped her head from sleepiness. He shook his head. Recia clearly said she wouldn't sleep a wink, but her eyelashes fluttered close to midnight. It was charming, but he knew that Recia would get annoyed if he told her that.
His attention was shifted when he heard movements from the dogs. They are camping for the night. He gritted his teeth. His sister was murdered and tortured in the Wolves' camp. Without realizing it, his fist closed tightly. He hates them so much. When they saw his sister next, it was inside a dug-up hole on the ground.
He realized that his knuckles turned white with how strong he clenched his fist. He closed his eyes tightly and slowly opened his palms. There's no point reminiscing the past.
He shook his head. He will avenge his sister no matter what.
As the night continued, he was losing his patience, but his fury and anger were greater. So, he waited and didn't take his eyes away from them.
-----
"Are they already setting out?" Recia looked at the bunch of dogs as they got up too.
Hyndor nodded his head. His eyes never left the group's every action.
He, Recia, and the other two initiate already shifted patrols all throughout the night, but he wasn't sleeping even a wink. The two initiates will just accompany him because he won't budge from sitting. He just couldn't let this opportunity go. This is the revenge he has been waiting for his whole life.
"Let's go." He whispered the word out.
The bubble of a wall they made from where they were, is slowly dispersing. They followed as soon as the dogs started walking.
Recia leads them, and Hyndor's heartbeat is getting faster and faster. His hands were sweating from excitement as he rubbed them.
When the group of werewolves reached a clearing. Recia held out her hands to stop them from walking any further.
Hyndor narrowed his eyes to see ahead, but the dogs were far away from where they were. He took out the bottle of blood in his pendant and poured on his fingers, smeared it on his eyelids, and recited a spell before he was able to make out what was happening.
His eyes grew wide, and he smiled as he recognized the dog they encountered at the entrance to the mountain. The green-eyed woman is alive and is currently undergoing the transformation to being a full werewolf.
He cocked his head to the side. This should get interesting....
Recia stood up straighter and must have recognized the girl too. She looked at him. Hyndor saw the same recognition in her eyes, and he nodded his head.
"What's happening? Aren't they supposed to be in their pack?" The woman from their new initiate approached them and looked at what was happening.
"But their pack location is surely right up ahead. We can follow that trail." Hyndor tapped the boy's shoulder and looked him in the eyes. "Go. Tell the others that we need the backup."
The boy nodded, and with a flash, he was speeding back to their camp.
Hyndor's lips quirk up in a corner. It's time to show them the power of witches.
"Let's go. Surprised attack when they are busy doing their rituals." Recia poured the vial into her hands and recited an enhancing spell.
Hyndor did the same with the vial he had. When he opened his eyes next, it was glowing red.
"Time to make them pay."
Hyndor squatted before jumping high towards the group, and Recia flew after him, hurling a lightning bolt. The dogs were surprised when someone from their pack got electrocuted from Recia's spell.
"Sh*t! Witches!" One of the dogs shouted it before Hyndor grabbed his throat and threw him on the ground. The man gurgled blood and tried to reach his feet, but he kicked him away and sent him flying in another direction.
He smiled when he saw who the Alpha was. It shifted quickly, and he saw a massive black wolf, and there was another one as big as the black wolf with white fur.
If he didn't know who was doing the command. He might think that the white wolf is the Alpha. Interestingly enough. The girl from the entrance of the mountain they encountered before being guarded. Why? Is she the Luna of the pack?
With that, his smile grew. Everything around him became a blur as humans transformed into a wolf. He swatted them like flies as he got towards the green-eyed woman's direction. Werewolves throw themselves towards them to try and stop him. He had scratches all over his body, but he wasn't fazed at all.
His blood is boiling with excitement.
The black and white wolf became tense as he came forward.
"She's the Luna, eh?" He tilted his head.
"Stop right there!"
He stopped and realized that the black wolf was using her Alpha voice on him. But even with the Alpha's voice. No one can stop him once he uses the entire vial to combat them for at least 10 minutes. But he was using borrowed time. He just needed the coven to come.
His lips quirk up in a corner.
That green eye is the Luna of this pack, and once he gets here, the Alpha will surely surrender.
Hyndor laughed as soon as he saw the coven members swarming everywhere. The werewolves are dropping like flies, and he spreads out his arms gleefully. But he moved it away when the black werewolf tried to chomp on it.
"You really think I can't predict your speed?" He laughed and started shooting the black wolf with his lightning bolt.
It avoided his attacks successfully, and Hyndor smiled.
A worthy opponent!
He looked once over the white wolf and the green-eyed woman. Then he shifted his eyes towards the enemy in front of him, baring its teeth.
"I will kill you!"
"Then try!"
Hyndor grinned, took a step back, and opened his arms wide. The massive black wolf runs in his direction. He easily evaded its attacks, but he winced when he leaped backward, and the black werewolf bit his right arm.
His eyes bulged out in pain, and he screamed as he held his hands.
"Now, you're a dead asshole!"
The massive wolf bared its fangs at him. He put pressure on his hands and realized that he was slowing down. He was also losing his enhancement with the blood he used earlier. He can feel the pain begin to invade his system.
Sh*t! Sh*t!
He looked behind him, and the white wolf was now transformed into a human and helping the green-eyed woman to stand up.
It appears that the Luna of the pack is awakening! He doesn't have any time to catch them!
Even with his arms aching, he reached out his arms to send a lightning bolt towards the two pairs, but his hands were cleaned off before he could hurl it. Hyndor screamed, and he gripped his hands. His wounds are burning, and the pain is down towards his bone. He gritted his teeth hard.
In an attempt to save his own skin, Hyndor tried to leap back towards his coven circle, but he didn't get that chance. The black wolf jumped in front of him and bit off his head.
His body shook violently when the Alpha of the pack stretched the veins in his neck before it completely snapped off, and his body thudded on the ground. Then his head followed, rolling off the ground.
