Aly wracked her brain for answers to why she didn't say anything to Rylie just before she disappeared inside Scott's house.
Or maybe she was worried that Rylie would take it the wrong way.
She messed her hair up.
Then there was that task that she was dreading from Alpha Gab. Nora is a heretic witch, and the thing that attracted Aly to Nora was her being different from other witches, or so she thought. But now that she knows what Nora was planning. She just can't let the witch take Alpha Gab's blood.
But it's also true that they don't have a choice. But what would Alpha Gab think if Nora used that blood for something sinister?
'Aly?'
Aly jumped from the cushion she was sitting on when she heard Alpha Gab's voice. It was a direct command that she had to answer.
She swallowed hard. 'Y-Yes, Alpha?'
'Give the formula to Nora.'
'But are you sure that you will give your blood to her? She could do much worse if she got your blood.'
'We have no choice. We'll just face the consequences when it presents themselves to us.'
Aly sighed. 'As you wish, Alpha Gab.'
She stood up and took the notes that Rylie had written. She took a good look at it before folding the paper in half.
What if Nora doesn't hold her end of the bargain? What if this is all futile? Can they get Macey and the other kids back to normal again? What if they are traumatized?
There are questions in her mind that need to be answered, but the situation doesn't give her any. Aly sighed.
They need to do it, and everybody is doing their part. She can't be picky regarding the mission given to her by the Alpha. Kelly and Nathan are off to Lina's mansion investigating, which is why she seldom sees the two in the pack. And Rylie is doing her part in finding out about the Lobo form.
She needs to follow the Alpha's command since she's just a beta. She knew in her gut that this would end in disaster, but she was a soldier in a war. She had no choice but to follow.

Aly looked around when she was near Nora's area. She knew that this was where Nora frequently roamed around. But it was long since she was there in the meadow full of Alberta wild roses, buttercup and fairy bell wildflowers.
Nora's hut is invisible whenever there are other people around. She made sure that ordinary people wouldn't be able to find her, more so the supernatural. That is why this is what Aly can only do. Roam around until Nora showed herself to her.
But why would Alpha Gab assign her the task of finding Nora? She and Nora were over a long time ago. She doesn't know if Nora will show herself or if Aly will wander around in this meadow just past the mountains.
"Well.... fancy meeting a werewolf here."
Aly whipped her head around. The blurry image was suddenly gone.
"Nora..."
"I never thought you would utter my name again one day."
Aly turned to her right side, but Nora was gone again before she could take a quick look. But it wasn't a fast reflex that Nora used. Aly knew that Nora was tricking her eyes and her brain. She was a werewolf, and despite being human, she knew that she could see clearly.
"Stop the tricks. I am here for one thing." Aly's eyes glinted sharply. "You want Alpha Gab's blood?"
Nora stopped moving, or Aly thought, with her senses returning to normal again, and it wasn't. The heretic witch must have stopped her illusions now. Not that Aly couldn't get out of the trickery, but she knew that Nora was still a reasonable person despite being evil.
Aly looked at Nora and instantly felt a dislike arise from her chest. Nora is beautiful, no doubt about that. The heretic witch was dressed in a sundress as if she was as bright and sunny, but she knew behind that face was an evil woman. She doesn't want to play games anymore.
"What do I need to do to get her blood?"
Aly stopped herself from rolling her eyes, but instead, she pursed her lips into a thin line.
"We need an antidote. You are the only witch we knew who could pull this off."
Aly then took the folded paper from the back pocket of her jeans and showed it to Nora.
Nora looked at it and tilted her head from side to side. As if scrutinizing the paper in her hands. Her hands are numb from holding the paper for a good long minute now.
"If you don't want to, I could find someone---"Before Aly could put the paper back in her pocket. Nora snatches it from her hands.
"I'll see to it first. Before, I'll give you an answer." Aly couldn't stop Nora when she suddenly leaned in and stole a kiss from the side of her cheeks.
Just like the illusions from before. Nora suddenly was gone, and she was left in the meadow.
"I'll see you again, Aly." She heard a whisper in the wind from Nora.
Aly narrowed her eyes. She fisted her hands and gripped them tightly. Her heart was racing fast against her chest in anger. Nora will never have a place in her heart again. The heretic witch doesn't deserve the love she has given. She was used to it, and she won't go back there again.
She ran far away from the wildflowers and the overwhelming smell of herbs and spices before transforming into her white wolf form.
She was running for a while when Alpha Gab mind linked to her.
'Aly?! Rylie just alerted us. There is an incident inside her campus. She thinks it's the were-witches.'
'W-What happened?'
'I'll explain when you get back here. By the way, did you find Nora?'
'Yes. I also gave her the formula. She'll see what she can do.'
'Good. Come back here. Were-witches are still out there, and if we don't stop them. They will continue to convert other witches and werewolves into hybrids.'
Aly set her lips into a thin line. Damn it!
She ran faster to return to the pack's location as soon as possible. Her paws hit the ground heavily as she breathed deeply. The wind is whipping around her, and branches are now hitting her body and face, but she doesn't care. She needs to get back to the pack as soon as possible. The order of things is now in chaos. This is why they never want to change the natural law.
If ordinary people find out about the werewolf. The werewolf will surely go extinct. Humans kill what they can't understand, and werewolves won't fight humans just to protect their own because they know the laws of nature.
Aly quickly made her way to the Alpha's office when she was inside the pack's location.
"What happened?" She quickly transformed and looked at Alpha Gab as she grabbed a long coat on the side of the door and wore it.
Alpha Gab turned from looking at the window and looked at her. "There were missing students from her universities; some returned like they were an upgraded version of themselves, and others were not so lucky. The dead had a ruptured throat and were white as a sheet."
Aly shook her head. This is not anyone's fault. Maybe this is why Rylie tries her best to stop all the mess Thomas Scott created, but it wasn't just Rylie's father who was at fault. The witches had ambitions they didn't know would affect the whole supernatural community this badly.
"Damn it." Aly closed her eyes tightly. "Damn it! Damn it!"
"Time is against us." Alpha Gab looked down and sighed. "We need the solutions to the vial. And then we'll fight the were-witches head-on. We can't allow these things to keep on happening."
Aly nodded her head. She agrees. "But how?"
"Go to where Rylie is. I'll let Hunter create a fake student ID for you. Rylie needs someone there. You can investigate. Just come back for the antidote brewed by Nora."
