CHAPTER 106

Aly is still worried about Rylie but she can't abandon Hunter and Nathan too. Rylie is right. The two is not even a match for her. What if they encountered were-witches? They would surely die or get captured.

Damn it!

She messed her hair up and quickly types a message for the two.

'I'll be at the university. The plan with Rylie is cancelled. I'll meet you two there.'

'Rylie kicked you out?'

Aly's eyebrow furrowed. Hunter is the one who is quick to joke in times like these. She shook her head and chuckled. Hunter is such an ass sometimes.

'No. She's afraid that if you and Nathan is faced off with a were-witch. You are no match for them. So she doesn't want you two to be alone doing the mission.'

'Ouch that hurt my feelings and my pride. Anyway, Beta. See you there.'

Aly smiled again and put the phone back to her back pocket.

She walked inside the university for a few hours and looked around. There are students walking with their eyes on a book while walking and others are listening to music. Then her eyes shifted uncomfortably when she saw reporters swarming the whole place. Even the police are also here.

This is getting out of hand. They need to know where is the lair of the were-witches are and tried to talked or knocked some sense into their brains.

Shit!

"Yo! Field!"

Aly closed her eyes tightly when she heard that voice. It was Hunter with Nathan on his side. Nathan and her had the same reaction. They are both hiding their faces because of what Hunter did. He was loud and he was waving his hands energetically around him.

She face-palmed. What does he think this is? A play pretend university student? They are here to investigate for goodness sake.

"Stop that!" She swiped at his hands when he winked and pointed to girls that he walked past.

Hunter smirked. "I just want to enjoy before we get slaughtered."

"Don't say that it's a jinx." Nathan shook his head.

"Come on. Follow me." Aly nodded her head towards the direction of the wood and walked there.

The two followed her and thanked Goddess the reporters or the police didn't notice them. They are swarming an area in the field where the first victim was killed. Others are inside the building investigating the other crime scene.

They could hear what they are talking about and they can see from where they are the swarms of reporters and police on the 4th floor.

"I don't like these. It's giving me the hibby jibbies." Hunter shivered and rubbed his arms once they are inside the woods.

The tall trees looked ominous and the whole place is a bit foggy.

"Stop your muttering, Hunter. Listened for any movements."

Aly looked around and narrowed her eyes. If the were-witches are hunting this area that means they built a camp around here. Predators would frequent an area if they can hunt this many preys.

Then she heard a crunched on the ground.

'Alert.' Aly mind linked the two and they both looked to the direction of the sound.

'Shit. Whatever it is do you think it wants to hunt us?' Hunter immediately said.

'Hunter! Focus!' Aly shifted her eyes when she heard another crunched and a blur on her peripheral vision.

Nathan immediately transformed when the blur started to come at them. Then it became clear to Aly. The blurs are becoming a clear image of a man dressed in black robe. It was wielding a lightning in its hands and when it hurled the magic at them.

'Look out!' Aly pushed Nathan away and she rolled to the side just before the strike landed on her.

The impact created a sound and she heard a gasp from the university's field.

"What the hell!? What is that sound?"

"It's coming from inside the woods!"

They heard footsteps started to run towards their direction. Aly widens her eyes. They all looked at the direction of the footsteps. Then they heard the were-witch laughed.

"Now. They will know the power of the were-witches. We will conquer the world. We will start with this small town who repressed us."

"W-What are you talking about?!" Aly gritted her teeth.

Nathan and Hunter stood by her side and glared at the were-witch.

"They planned this. How did they know that we will be here?" Nathan looked at her.

Aly bit her lip. "There's no one but the 4 of us inside that office. The only logical explanation in this is they are waiting for the reporters and the police to be able to witness this fight. We can't get caught in this. Let's retreat for now."

Hunter and Nathan nodded their head.

Aly transformed into her white werewolf and sprinted.

They started running away from the woods of the university and deeper into the trees. The were-witch followed them and they couldn't believe their eyes when the were-witch started to appear along their side one by one.

'This is not good!' Aly skidded to a stop and faced the were-witches. They are clearly outnumbered. Three against twenty! 'Call for back up.'

"Now. Let's give the world a fight to see. Aye?" The were-witch tipped hood back and revealed a smirking man. "We will burn this town down and then the rest of the world!"

Aly looked back at Nathan. 'Transformed into a human and call the rest of the pack here. Those who could still fight. We need their assistance! Right now!'

Nathan nodded his head and transformed. He quickly took out his phone and called the Alpha.

"Alpha we are surrounded! We need help. It's in the woods near the university. Hurry--!"

Nathan's phone flew into the air when one of the were-witches threw a fireball into it.

Hunter gasped and glared at the were-witch. "You will pay for that! He bought it from installment!"

Damn it! They are screwed. She hoped that the Alpha clearly heard the message well before the line was cut off. Or they will lose their life. This is too much even for her to handle. She could take on 4 at once but Nathan and Hunter can only take 2 each. And by the time they could do that they would be swarmed!

"Hunter! Nathan! Follow my lead!" Aly positioned herself in the center of Nathan and Hunter. 'From now on we will talk inside our mind linked. No one will deviate from the plan. Got it!'

'Got it, Beta!' Hunter said and narrowed his eyes. 'I don't want to die yet without seeing Helga with a child.'

'Yes!' Nathan said.

Aly nodded her head. And when the first attack from the were-witches hit them They ducked to the side and kicked the were-witches near them in the stomach. Then did a slash of claw and beheaded 3 of the were-witches.

Then her eyes followed the cabin and the signs of the were-witches camping in this area of the woods. There were more were-witches started to swarm them.

They have to hold on until help arrives. But for now they will try their best to fight and hope that they will survive.

Her mind immediately remembered Rylie's smile and face. If she doesn't make it out of this fight alive. She regretted that she didn't mate with Rylie. She still wants to see their child together.

Damn it! Aly punched another were-witch and took a hold of its upper and lower body. Before chomping on it and spitting out the head.

She groaned when another one was coming towards her.
