Rylie's POV

Sh*t! I am such an idiot!

Rylie mentally smacked herself when she went inside the shower. Aly made her go first, and she banged her head on the tiled floor.

But after doing that, she was finally able to calm down and looked herself in front of the mirror. She made a long journey here, and becoming a werewolf taught her that family and friends come first. She will make sure that she will become a tamed werewolf before returning to her own family. She couldn't risk harming them like Aly did.

The Light moon pack could only do so much for her. Educating her about werewolf body senses, temper, and tradition. She may be able to control herself more. If she stays for a while longer and learns some of their tradition until the summer ends.

There were good things that happened. Rylie smiled. Aly is not in danger anymore. The new Alpha of Raven Crest didn't fight her, but she is also worried about the elders' thoughts.

They are the ones who knew about the whole incident more and might insist on killing Aly instead of helping them. She fisted her fist. If they lay a single hand on Aly. Rylie knew that her own werewolf wouldn't sit still.

They don't have enough days to see what her werewolf could do, but Aly trained her well before. And Kelly told her that werewolves' instincts will take over when fighting.

"Rylie?"

Rylie looked at the door when she heard Aly knock. Apparently, she's been in there for too long.

"I-I'm coming out."

She gathered the clothes on the rack. Then began drying her hair and body with a towel before promptly dressing. Her smile widened when she saw Aly.

Aly was leaning on the table inside the room and was waiting for her to come out. Then Aly's eyes widened when Rylie finally came out of the comfort room. Aly looked like a deer caught in a headlight with her eyes wide like that.

Is she really that breathtaking and beautiful, like Aly used to say?

Rylie stopped the smile from spreading from her lips when she saw how red Aly's face was. It was as clear as daylight that Aly likes her too, and she loves what she's seeing. She suddenly had the urge to kiss Aly, but she stopped herself.

Remembering what they talked about before. And the kiss they shared. Rylie can still feel Aly's lips on her lips every time she remembers it. Does Aly remember it?

Rylie put a finger to her lips and played with it. She started feeling tingles on her body. What does it feel when Aly finally kisses her for real, not just touching lips but where their lips met in a fervent passion? Tongue for tongue and mouth to mouth. Attaching on each other with need?

Do werewolves really know their true mates and their second chance mate?

Rylie looked up, and she saw Aly's face darken looking at what her fingers were doing. Then just as the feeling of tension persisted, it suddenly disappeared when Aly looked down and avoided their staring.

Aly walked towards her.

"I-I'm going in." Aly brushed Rylie's shoulder a bit.

Rylie felt an electric jolt from where their shoulders touched, and Aly must have felt it too. Aly jolted and looked at her briefly before quickly entering the comfort room.

She smiled. Aly is so cute. This is the first time that she saw Aly's flustered face.

Was putting her fingers on her lips made Aly flustered?
