Aly's POV

"Did you two shag before being dressed?" Lina's left eyebrow shot up, and Aly rolled her eyes while Rylie blushed like a tomato.

Though Aly can feel her cheeks and ears get hot, she just doesn't want to tell Lina what they did. She doesn't fully trust her. Plus, there's no point in saying something to the witch because Lina will just tease them.

"L-Let's just hurry to the meeting and get it over soon."

Lina's shoulder shook when she laughed.

Aly held Rylie's hands and ignored Lina's laughter. She wished that they had reached the Alpha's cabin faster before she put duct tape in Lina's mouth. She's easily irritated when it comes to this witch.

She felt Rylie's hands squeeze her as if reassuring her. Aly pressed back and looked gratefully at her mate.

"Aw, such a cute love story." Lina was the first to hold the knob and turn it. "But I just wished that you all wouldn't fall to your deaths later."

She shivered with what Lina didn't say impliedly. Her eyes narrowed when she saw how Lina comfortably settled between Elder Tristan and Elder Lola. This witch must have a death wish if she keeps on saying that.

She sighed and took the left side of Elder Tristan.

"So, where is the location, Lina?"

"It's up north, past two rivers. There was a cave system that the witches use, and after that, you will emerge to their coven."

Elder Tristan nodded his head. "Good. Now, what course of the plan should we take?"

---------------------------

Aly nervously looked around her. The massive mansion in front of her is enormous compared to Lina's coven back in the woods. This one really has a dark aura that seems to emanate out of the whole place.

After their meeting, she was sent to walk to the enemy's territory.

Her hands were cold and sweaty as she looked at the mansion in front of her. She didn't step on a sigil or wards as they agreed.

She almost cursed under her breath when she saw Lina's red light signaled from a few meters away.

She wants to strangle Lina when the latter says she shouldn't be imposing the idea of sacrifice at the last minute, but she's the one who did it. Lina told her that they couldn't possibly know where the people were located if no one infiltrated the inside. So Aly agreed, but she also put the responsibility on Lina to protect Rylie too.

She can't let Rylie walk into the witches' realm and be unprotected. Though she doesn't trust Lina, no one will safely protect her mate other than the witch. Lina was quite taken with Rylie when they first met, but she doesn't trust the witch.

The red light flashed again, and this time the blinking became rapid. It's a signal that Aly should step on the sigil and let the witches swarm her.

With her eyes closed, her feet move on their own accord. She stepped on the sigil, and the blue light started flashing wildly.

That's what Lina is waiting for. She then signaled another light. This time it was a blue light, and Lina's coven of witches worked to disable the wards, barriers, and sigils.

Lina told them that the witches' coven has a sigil, barrier, and wards all around to stop the werewolves' magic abilities. The plan is to change the sigil, barrier, and wards to act as if it was still from this coven's protection. But it wasn't when Lina and her coven switched the markings.
