CHAPTER 96

Kelly looked behind her to make sure that no one among the pack was trailing her. She was walking towards Lina's coven. To put the antidotes inside the mansion. She doesn't know how Nora will be able to pull off accusing Lina but she still has to do this before Nora kills her kid.

They are still waiting for Nora to complete the antidote, but Kelly knew it was all a sham. Nora already had the antidotes. She was just replicating it and she doesn't know what the heretic witch was planning with the 2 were-witches. But a whisper of a crow as a sign that the antidote was ready? She doesn't have a crow and she doesn't know how they could pull it off.

Kelly breathed hard when she saw the mansion of Lina's coven. The runes and sigils around are shining in blue, red and yellow and she knew that it wouldn't affect her because she wasn't here when Lina casted a binding spell to the other pack members.

It would just alert Lina that there was someone in their vicinity.

Kelly stepped on the blue sigil.

"What are you doing here, Kelly?"

"Hi. Lina. Alpha Gab wants to tell you about the plan to capture the were-witches all at once." Kelly looked around.

Lina must have sense that what she was about to say is important.

"Let's go inside."

Kelly followed Lina when she turned her back and went inside the mansion. The old oak door opened slowly in a cricking manner when Lina put the blood of the vial on it and turned her fingers around.

Her heart began to beat fast and loud against her ears. She was inside the lair of Lina. She saw the other coven member looked at her as she walked past them. They are all wearing cloaks and the sigils and runes in their bodies are glowing.

The whole place is slightly dimmed. There were candles lined up on the wall floating. There was magic everywhere and Kelly couldn't help but think it was a suicide mission. Nora had sent her to. But once she put the vial on Lina's coven. She will get her baby back. So she had to do this.

She put her hands in a fist and clenched it tightly. She can feel her muscles constrict against her own fingers.

Lina turned left to a hallway and opened a door. She followed Lina and the door immediately closed once the two of them are inside.

"So what is it?" Lina turned to look at her and leaned on the table.

Kelly remained standing.

She looked around Lina's office, trying to find where she could put the two vials.

"Kelly? What is it? What is Alpha Gab's plan?"

Shit! Where is Nora's distraction like she promised? She doesn't like to do this but she needs to for her baby. There's nothing important to her but her baby.

She opened her mouth. Just as she was about to say it. A commotion started to happen outside. Then they heard a knock on Lina's office.

Lina looked at her hard and long before opening the door with her hands.

"Priestess! The were-witches are attacking!"

"What?!"

Lina went towards the cloaked man and held his shoulders. "How many?"

"Too many! I don't know how they got around our borders of sigils and runes but the symbols didn't alarm us."

"Why now?" Kelly butted in to make it appear like she was concerned but she knew that it was Nora's bidding.

"I don't care. I need to do something about it. I'll be back." Lina looked at her. "Stay here for a while. They can't handle it alone. Tell me later."

Kelly nodded her head. "I-I'll fight too."

Lina nodded her head. The two witches walked out of the room and Kelly looked back. Used her lobo form speed and put the two vials inside the cabinet of Lina's table before going out of the room.

Kelly knitted her forehead as she saw the swarms of were-witches attacking them. There are at least ten.

Lina immediately went towards the commotion and used her lightning and fire spells. Kelly transformed into her wolf and suppressed the urge of the Lobo form to take over. It wasn't needed in this fight and Lina could become suspicious of her if she does so.

Pretty soon the fight was over and they all subdued the were-witches. The ones who are alive are captured and Lina asked her coven to put the were-witches as a prisoner later for questioning.

Kelly gave Lina the letter that the Alpha had given her. It was the only thing that she needed to do. It was part of her plan that Lina received the letter. Or else this could fail.

"I don't know why they are attacking us." Lina looked at her. "Any idea, Kelly?"

She shook her head. "No. I don't know why they attacked you."

After their fight with the were-witches. Lina went back to her office to talk to her about Alpha Gab's supposed to be plan.

Lina sighed. "Alright. Just tell me Alpha Gab's plan."

It's not from Alpha Gab at all. It was part of her plan to foil Nora. But she hoped that everything goes according to plan. She closed her eyes while writing it all out. She hoped that Lina was able to read it.

"Is this it? You could have given me this outside of the coven."

"No. I need to personally deliver that to you." Kelly looked at Lina. "Don't open that until the next 4 full moon. I need you to swear Lina."

Lina sighed and looked at the letter in her hands. Then she looked up and stared long and hard at Kelly's eyes.

"Alright. I trust Alpha Gab. She was the only one who trusted us even though you all accused us of taking the vial. I'll restrain myself then."

Lina chuckled.

And Kelly felt guilt gnawed at her. It came in a prickle and she couldn't help but open her mouth to say something but she knew that she will compromised the plan that she had with Rylie. So she closed it tight and made her lip into a thin line.

"Here." Kelly took a vial of blood in her pocket and dropped it in Lina's open hands. "It's Aly's blood. Given willingly."

"Aly's blood?"

"Yes. You need that to fight. Just read the paper."

Lina's mouth hangs open then she smiled in glee. Kelly stops herself from playfully rolling her eyes. She smiled and shook her head. All the witches are the same. They are happy with Alpha's blood or someone along those bloodlines. Technically, Aly is an Alpha that choose to be a beta. And Lina knew that. She could have given her blood too willingly but it's not as potent as the Alpha's or the beta's.

"Thank you for this."

"Yeah. You are welcome."

Kelly nodded her head before walking out of Lina's coven. She looked one last time to the mansion and bit her lip. It feels like she was sentencing Lina to be slaughtered. She hoped that her plan worked or else. They would be annihilated.

She turned her back and transforms into her werewolf form. Then ran towards the direction of the pack. She hoped that everything goes according to plan.
