Alijah
We'd moved yet again I'm so sick and tired of this shit. Dad has finally been released from the RAF'S. He had left due to shell shock or something like that. He's been so withdrawn lately mom has no idea what to do. He had left around five years ago, more like discharged after their last tour and he had begun to have flashbacks, things for him haven't been getting any better.
Mom agreed to move out here because he's an old school friend who lived out here Hope Evans now is Hope Kingsley. Hoping they could reunite. Mom had called Hope and she agreed she would do her best to help my father as she worked for the army once and had seen what it had done to some of the guys she knew.
I believe her daughter Carly Evans is in my year. I have seen her around and I have a few lessons with her. She is one on her own, a kindred spirit. Most people make fun of her because she is different, but I like different that's why I'm always trying to make conversation with her and failing terribly so me being the jerk I am have also begun to their the odd sarcastic comment at her making my friends laugh and high five each other, I secretly have the biggest crush on her but I am unable to get to close to her because my friends will start to suspect me and then there's her boyfriend Aiden Harper.
He is in the year below us but he is her protector and won't let anyone say a bad word against her. He's been in so much trouble over the past year I've been here because people don't like different, and they certainly don't like the pretty goth girl who is in her world most of the time and a lot more lately since the winter holidays. I wonder what that is about?
"Hey, goth girl."
She looked at me and scowled. "What is it, McKenley? I have places to be, even if you don't."
Mmh feisty.
"So, you can string at least eight words together. I'm impressed, you can make a sentence."
"Are you calling me a retard, McKenley?"
"I wouldn't dare."
"Good. I may be not as sharp as you but I have a Brian unlike you."
"Wow, I finally got the goth geek to talk."
"Buzz of McKenley. I've got better things to do than waste my time arguing with the likes of you!"
Input my hand on my heart. "I'm hurt, Kingsley. And I thought we were making progress."
"Then you are sadly mistaken, McKenley. Goodbye." She said walking away.
"I'll get you to talk to me, Kingsley."
She gave me the finger-walking down the corridor.
I laughed, she's such a charmer. I'll get her to talk to me one way or another even if it means being an asshole to her. In front of my friends anyways, they don't need to know I like this girl.
I will get her to talk to me and I will get her to like me one way or another.
I grinned making my way to the lesson though I was late and knew I would get detention. I promised mom I would go to every one of my lessons and try my hardest not just for her, but for dad too.

I was so angry they were letting out that hypocrite. After everything, he has done! They were letting him out!
I have so many flashbacks to that day. Cakes got a whole lot worse than I did. Both his knees were shattered and he was unable to train up-and-coming fighters. And that pissed him off after finding out he couldn't fight anymore. He still worked at the gym alongside Autumn. But it wasn't the same. Scar had taken everything away from him. He'd worked damn hard to get to where he was after he had to step down from the ring and leave behind something he had a passion for.
