Kyler glared angrily as Ethan walked by, I couldn't see his face but I say it was as smug as hell. He may have won this battle but he hasn't won the war. I may have agreed to work with him but that's all I agreed to.

I'm happy with who I'm with unless anything else bad happens between us. It's been a long hard journey over the past few years. I've learned that despite what happened back then we were all to blame, we never took the time to be together and establish a central ground even though they both knew I needed time to deal with whatever was holding me back from starting a family with them. When I finally decided I was, that's when the shit hit the fan literally.

Two years in and I'm still struggling with that concept though they had both said they would wait until I was ready. I'm not even sure I would ever be. I love them both but there is still a fear that Johnathan will cheat again. This time taking Kyler with him. No matter how much they say they both love me there's still that niggling feeling at the back head that thinks all is going to go tits up.

"Why the hell was Ethan here?" he asked angrily.

"To talk."

"About what?"

"We'll talk about it when we get home."

"We'll talk about it now!" he demands.

"No, we won't, we'll do it at home so I can talk to both you and Jonathan together and not separate."

He glares angrily as Caspian walks up to us. "What's going on? Everyone can hear you on the other side of the building."

We both glare at one another not answering Caspian.

"Kyler, since your voice was the loudest, would you like to fill me in on why you're having a slanging match with one of my employees you should know better."

"Ask her."

"I'm asking you."

"Ethan came to see her."

"I see and where's the problem with that?"

"He's here for a reason and she won't tell me!"

"I told you we'd speak about it at home."

"So where's the problem?"

"We all know what Ethan is like."

"That may be Kyler, but right now you're causing an unnecessary scene when you could deal with what he came here to see Carly about at home. I don't want to hear raised voices while there are children here. I don't want to lose another soldier because of it, you hear me?"

"Yes, Sergeant."

"Good now let's all get back to work and you can sort out this little misunderstanding at home okay."

We both nod and Caspian returns our nod and walks away. Kyler glares at me. "This isn't over angel, not by a long shot," he says, Storming away.

The rest of the day is comically quiet. We both head home in silence I know he wants to say something about today by how he's gripping into the steering wheel and his knuckles are turning white, but he won't say anything until we get home. I have to speak to both of them.

He pulls up the jeep and we get out in silence. It's been the worst drive home ever. We usually chat and laugh. Not today.

And once I drop the bomb of me working with Ethan the house will go up. We close the doors of the jeep well. I close it and Kyler slams it shut muttering to himself.

We head inside Jonathan is already there sitting on the sofa usually he's back around seven unlike today so I guess Kyler has been ranting at him down the phone.
