I need to talk to someone. I'm really not sure this is such a good idea as I thought it was a few hours ago when I agreed to it.

Star has always got the best advice, but I'm not even sure if Caspian has even told her. I had spoken to him early on today informing him of accepting the job offer from Ethan. He congratulated me and said it was the best decision I could ever make climbing up the ladder and getting more experience, something I wouldn't get at the camp or centre. Now he understood why Kyler was so mad but I had told him I hadn't mentioned it to either Kyler or Jonathan because until recently I had no need to change job prospects because I was happy. And to be honest I had forgotten about it until Ethan had made an appointment to see me about the named job offer. I knew it was time for me to move on to bigger and better things. This was my chance to get ahead and seek a better purpose in life.

I closed the bedroom door and sat in the bed. I called Star who answered after two rings. "Hey Carls what's up we haven't spoken in like, forever and I miss you."

"I miss you too, Star. We'll have to make time out of our busy schedules."

"That would be great. What's wrong Carly, are you and the boys fighting?"

"Sort of."

"Tell Star what happened."

I laughed. "Do you remember when Ethan came to see me at the centre?"

She huffed out. "I do, there was a big ruckus between him, Kyler and Jonathan."

"Well he offered me a job."

"I hope you told him no."

"Not exactly."

"What did you tell him, Carls?"

"That I wasn't interested at the time. And he said he'd be back once the place he asked for me was up and running."

"Let me guess it is."

"Yeah, I hadn't thought about it for almost two years. It sounded like a great opportunity even Cas said so. But he never came back so I assumed it flunked."

"Whow rewind, Cas knew all about this?"

"Yeah. I told him why Ethan was there and he said; it was a good opportunity and it would do us all some good being separated."

"So let me get this straight, Cas thought that you working for Ethan was not only a good opportunity but it would help if you, it makes no damn sense."

Jonathan and Kyler had more time apart for what exactly Carly? I'm trying to follow this but it makes no sense."

"To build our relationship up and get it on even ground again."

"Are you having problems, Carly?"

"Not really." I paused. "It just doesn't feel like it once did after everything that went down. I just need a new start to make me see if the relationship between all of us is worth saving."

"I understand why you feel like you are Carly, Jonathan betrayed you in the worst possible way but going to work for Ethan is going to solve your relationship problems, it's just going to make them worse. How do the guys feel about this?"

"They're pissed."

"And rightfully so." she stops and lets out a short breath. "Ethan isn't the answer. Let me ask you something, do you love them?"

"Yes."

"Then be careful Carl's we've all seen how Ethan looks at you he's up to something."

"I will."
