I pulled up outside the offices in the campsite and got out of the jeep. I had never had such a refreshing morning. I had never thought once that I would find a girl as much on par as Carly as I did in the little pixie friend of hers.

Pity it all had to end so abruptly because of that little prick Conrad had to show up when he did. What the fuck is his problem anyway?

I jump out of the jeep and slam my door pressing a button on the keyring to lock it up.

I'm surprised to see Jonathan and Kyler waiting at the offices but I'm more surprised to see Carly there. Shouldn't she be inside now?

I stride towards them. "What is this a family reunion?

"No, this is an intervention."

Right. "Can't we do it later? Carly needs to be with the cou cell or for their first appointment."

"It's been rescheduled."

"Why? So can you give me the third degree?"

"No. Well, sort of. The camper had requested a letter time so I have ten minutes spare."

I nod. Of course, you do.

"So one t with it."

"Please don't hurt her.

I looked at Carly confused.

"Don't hurt Star."

"I hardly know her, Carly."

"I know, but please don't hurt her."

"What makes you think I will?"

"She's been through a lot Cas and I mean alot she doesn't usually act like that around guys. You can ask these two."

"She's right Cas. She never once blushed or stuttered around us and just look at us." he said flat and ng his hands down himself. I rolled my eyes.

Carly slapped him above the head. "Now isn't the time for jokes Bulldog Jr."

"Right, sorry," he said, looking at me. "You need to tread carefully with Stardust. She isn't like all the other girls, Cas. She likes you and if you take advantage of that well she might..."

"She might think you're taking the piss out of her physique."

"And why the hell would I do that?"

"She's been hurt before Cas she doesn't need another guy taking the piss making her think they like her when all they want to do is make a mockery out of her."

"I won't." I look at them, "She likes me?"

They all nod. "I want to smile but play it on the down low. "She hardly knows me, how can she like me?"

Carly rolls her eyes. "God Cas you're so dense."

Bulldog Jr and Kyler nod in agreement.

"She isn't shy Cas, she's outspoken and she hasn't got a filter as you realised from her comment about Conrad."

"What's going on with those two?"

"He made some kind of advance towards her and she shot him down but his ego is bigger than his brain and won't let it go he thinks she's playing hard to get. But she not she doesn't like him; she thinks he's just like all the other jerks who've tried it on. They want to embarrass her because she's got curves and ther think it funny to use them against her and make her feel insufficient and not worth any guy's time. Please don't be one of those guys Cas. She likes you and I don't think that she can take that kind of heartbreak."
