Sergeant Caspian Hollingway
I'm so sick and tired of this shit she's been back almost a month now and she's still ignoring everyone after her brother's trial went to shit.
She has to come to terms with the judge's decision. Liam could be out on good behaviour in around six years. She is so convinced it was all our faults when we told the truth, the truth she left out for her own selfish reasons.
Now it's come to my attention she's snapping at everyone here including the kids she is supposed to be supporting and now I'm more pissed than ever so I asked the counsellor to tell her that I want to see Carly in my office this can't go in she's upsetting too many people.
The knock rattled the door angrily. I guess she's here. "It's open."
The door creaks as it opens. She strolls in without a care in the world the door slams behind her on its own. Her hair is delshad. I've never seen her hair messy and notty before. It's always well kept not today. Her uniform looks unkempt and crinkled to shit. I hadn't realised how hard Liam going back inside had hit her until now.
"Take a seat."
"I'm fine standing thanks." She mutters.
This is so unlike the girl I knew she was so full of fire and sarcasm and it looks as if it has all died.
"It's come to my attention that you are upsetting a lot of people here, Miss Evans."
"Well they shouldn't upset me then."
"That's not how it works and you know it. You're here to gain experience in the department you schose and not bring your problems here with you. If you are struggling you can talk to your representative or counsellor. But I will not tolerate you taking it out on people and children that don't deserve it."
"Liam didn't deserve it either but he got sent down for something he didn't do."
"I know." He sighed. "Look Carly if it is still troubling you we can offer you come one to talk to and get you back on track so you don't have these meltdowns at work and scare the kids half to death and the staff on edge whilst you're in their company."
"I wanted to keep him out of jail out of trouble he'd been in so much growing up with that sperm donor in prison my aunt and uncle found it hard to keep him under taps they tried so hard they really did but he was so rebellious and made stupid decisions I'm not saying this wasn't right ne of his brothers moments but he meant no harm and I miss him." She started sniffing. "I miss him so much I want him back and I'll never get that because thst prick took him away from me." She was now full on crying.
Fuck wehre was Jonathan and Kyler when I needed them. I pulled myself up and strode over to where she was standing, shaking and crying violently. I wrap my arms around her and she melts into me and continues crying.
"I'm so sorry Carly we all did what was right even though it will never be right in your eyes or sit right with us he didn't deserve to go to prison he made a big mistake one he will regret he made but he didn't deserve to go back in prison for doing what he felt right."
She sniffled. "I'm sorry too I never meant to lash out at everyone just everything's got on top of me after they found Liam guilty and gave him that sentence I didn't know what to do Aiden was with me every day after the hearing he was so good at comforting me and reassuring me then when I came back I had ni ine I fucked everythng uo cause I was angry then he tried to contact me."
I raised an eyebrow, shocked that he even attempted to do such a thing.
"Your father?"
"Sperm Donor."
