I smiled and pulled Star into a hug. This was exactly why she was my best friend. She knew exactly what to say and how to make me feel better. I had once had it with Jonathan and Kyler but after what he had done to me made me realise that that ship had sailed and I couldn't even trust his words anymore. I needed to decide what I wanted, but I knew one thing: after getting the approval from Caspian I was going to agree to work with Ethan when the project was done and was up and running.

I moved away. "I'll let you get back to work. I have a couple of seasons this morning before lunch."

Star nods. I'm here anytime you need to talk."

"I know," I said, heading out of her office, closing the door and heading to my office to see the first teenager for the day.

The day had finally ended. I had noticed that Jonathan had been avoiding everyone. Not any more. I was going to make it known that I wasn't happy that he had lied to me and had a full-blown affair behind my best friend's back and his.

I spotted him making his way to the car park my fist clenched. "Jonathan!"

He froze for a second and turned my fist connected with his fade. "You are lucky it was your face if I had a scalpel I'd cut off dick!"

"What the hell Star."

"You lied to me, you two-bit ASSHOLE!"

"I take it you talked to Carly?" he asked like he didn't actually fuking care he had destroyed my best friend.

"Tes I did. She was a mess. What the hell Jonathan? She loves you or should I say loved you. And you fuxkin screwed her over. Once bitten. I can't believe I believed you and let it go so you could sort your relationship out. Was this your plan to make it fail once you revealed that you cheated on her not just once but for six fuckgn months?"

"No, I didn't. I did as you asked. I told her the truth. They are both so mad at me right now and I don't know what to do."

"Serves you right. Karma."

"I thought you were my friend?"

"I was until you hurt mine."

"What the hell is going on out here?" a voice boomed.

We both looked over at a fuming Caspian. "When?" he asked, humming.

"Ask your friend he might not lie through his teeth to you."

"I'm asking both of you. You threw a punch at Jonathan when you thought no one was around but you were wrong we have cameras."

"He cheated on Carly."

He looked at Jonathan but it was more like a glare. "Is this true?"

"It was a mistake."

"You cheated on the best thing that's ever happened to you and you call it a mistake!" he said, angrily. "When the fuck did this even happen?"

"Six months ago."

"Tell him everything, Jonathan. Tell him it wasn't. Just a one off tell him it went on for six fuckgn months, shpix fuckgn months Jonahtan!"

Caspian's eyes cut at Jonathan. "Is this true?"

He gulped. "Yes."

"Isn't it in your cameras surely it picked up something?" I inquired.

"It should be but no one here will be any the wiser if someone is having an affair they'll think it's porn not a robbery." He looked at Jonathan. "You're suspended until further notice." Then he looked at me. "I'm sorry Star, but, you're suspended for two weeks after you were caught punching a former officer though you had good reason."
