It's been a few months since Kyler and Jonathan had been to see the shrink. They were slowly recovering from their ordeal but they would never be completely healed, just able to control it better. They saw her twice a week. Sometimes I would go along, sometimes I wouldn't. They needed to be in control of what was happening to them, they needed to understand why what happened was happening and how to deal with what was happening.

Like today for example Jonathan was in his session with the psychiatrist. I had been able to sit the first half of their meeting but was soon shooed out of the second so she could talk to Jonathan "alone". I had agreed knowing that I had to return to work after the frost session today there was too much to do today, today was bat shit crazy the games would be finally taking place in the summer and a lot of kids needed reassurance that they would make complete fools out of themselves and that's where I came in. I had a way of calming them all down so my superior said. So I would be there all afternoon until five calming the more nervous students down the games were rapidly approaching scientists that had been under the observation of the army had made an ear piece to fit in the ear to hear Cas when he said those famous words; "get set" and "go". Instead of a horn blowing and startling Jonathan so much so he couldn't be out there enjoying the campers participating against the other camp. It was supposed to take years to make such a complicated piece of technology but they had come up with a design they the sergeant Major had agreed to and they were give a mere three months to get it up and running Let's hope it works though it's a prototype it needs to be topspec and hopefully flaw free.

Now I had finished my shift I found Jonathan leaving against the wall smiling brightly he was definitely happy about something, but what?

"Hey Carly Bear." He said, still smiling, his happiness could be heard through his voice. I hadn't seen him this happe in forever.

"Hey Jonathan, you look happy."

"I am that's why. Come on Carly bear, take a walk with me."

"What about Kyler?"

"What about him?"

"Just you both usually are together, with me never without the other."

He pouted. "Please, Carly Bear, please don't make my smile turn upside down." He grinned.

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "I suppose I have no choice in this?"

"Nope, not at all." He grinned happily. Holding out his hand for me to take it.

I really didn't want to burst his bubble whilst he was so happy. "Fine." I sighed again knowing Kyler wouldn't be happy if he knew Jonathan and I were spending time without him. I had no idea what their deal was but they seemed to cling to each other liem their lives depended on it and it was worse now than it was before after everything that happened I think Cas was even getting fed up with them mothering over him. They all looked out for each other like brothers. I wish Kaden would be more like them, but he had screwed it all when he decided to take advantage of me when I was down. I really don't want to think about it but I regret being so harsh with him, but it had to be done or he would've thought that we stood a chance when there wasn't one to begin with.

I placed my hand on his and he laced our fingers together. Still smiling he led me to the lake where we'd sat before talking and laughing. I wasn't sure if tonight would be the same. He pulled me down and we sat by the water's edge.

"So what's really made you so happy?"

"The psychiatrist said I was improving."

"That's good."

"I know but I've vastly improved since I started seeing her, and she thinks it's because of the people around me giving me support that I've come on leaps and bounds and I agree."
