We're Together

A knock alerts both of us and three smiling faces appear at the window. I bite my lip trying not to laugh. I beckon them in knowing they have been here almost as long as I have.

The door creaks open and all three of them walk in one behind the other. I think they all look cute together, but Carly would say I was ridiculous and three people can't be together and be in a happy relationship.

I think it's codswallop, you can't help who you fall for and I think Carly likes them as much as they like her, but is too scared to admit it after what happened with Aiden. It's still a very sensitive topic and she refuses to take on another relationship even though Jasmine and I know for a fact she shared a moment with Able even though the two of them deny it they had. Though they are close they are more like brother and sister than lovers. Maybe that's why it didn't go any further, but we will never know unless either of them own up to it. l all know Able isn't here to talk about their weird relationship and Carly, well. Carly is, well.....Carly, she keeps her heart on her sleeve and rarely speaks about her past relationships. We both know she's keeping something from us and maybe in time she will tell us but I'm not going to pressure her into anything. She'll talk to me when she feels she can come to terms with all the shit that's gone on in her life.

The last through the door is Kyler surprisingly enough he shuts the door and they all crowd around the bed. Jonathan is the first to speak as usual. I've noticed even though he and Kyler are friends and they think the same most of the time Jonathan is usually the first to speak up and speak his mind before Kyler gets a word in edgeways and everyone can see it bugs Kyler but he never says shit. "Why didn't you tell us you were having problems Cas, we could've helped."

"I didn't want to put you all on the spot. I thought I could handle it. I was embarrassed."

"Were your friends Cas. Starlight had to see it and you're not embarrassed by her seeing you at your lowest, so why would you be embarrassed if any of us did?"

"No one was supposed to."

"So how come she did?"

"It was the day I came to see him almost five months ago. I asked you where he was. You said he was probably in his office so I went there first. He wasn't there so I took the initiative to check his cabin when I got no answer after knocking the door three times. I picked the lock and let myself in to see him huddled under the window. I want to be sure what was going on. It was like he was having some kind of episode. I held him until he calmed down and we talked until he promised to see someone."

"And did you?"

"I did."

"So what happened?"

"The meds help but I still have my bad days and really bad days."

"What's wrong with you Cas?" Carly asked curiously.

"I have what you call Mild Agoraphobia. It's not as bad as full blown Agoraphobia but it still stops you from doing stuff you would usually do day to day. When it comes on it can be aggressive and you can't do shit to stop it even the meds don't completely stop it. I was having a really bad day. I don't even remember what happened after taking my meds just waking up here."

"You overdosed."

cas bowed his head in shame. "I'm sorry guys. I never thought it would get this bad honestly. I was doing so well until this last episode struck me; they're usually not as aggressive."

Jonathan placed his hand on Cappians shoulder and squeezed it. "Don't worry about that now you're safe and out the woods Serg, but we're all here to help you can't keep off loading your shit on Star, you have other friends who want to help too."
