We've been played Pt 2

Kaden knocked on her door. "Go away."

"It's me Carly poo not mom or dad."

"It's open." She said, quickly wiping her tears away. 

He let himself in and closed the door. He lay beside her in the bed and pulled her into his arms. "It will get better Sis."

"How? She's never going to believe me. I hate all of this kaden. She's the one who put these camps together for kids like me, but she's the opposite of what I am. She doesn't care that I'm getting bullied by not one but three guys and wasn't happy I protected myself.  It's like I'm the freak of the family and no one gives a shit about the freak goth girl just what everyone else thinks about her."

"That's not true Sis. I don't care what other people think of you. You're the best sister anyone could wish for your brave, brainy and you care. Yeah you have a weird sense of fashion but that's you fuck em all Carly if they don't like who you are they can go and fuck themselves."

She smiled. "Thanks Kaden, that means a lot."

He smiled, kissing her brow. "I'm not the only one that cares about Carly poo, you have Aiden too."

She snored. "No I don't he's lied to me he was the only guy that understood me and once my back was turned he was hooking up with another girl."

"Are you sure, that doesn't sound like Aiden."

"I saw the pictures kaden."

"Maybe you should ask him before you accuse him of anything pictures can tell us what we want them to.  Even if he was with another girl there may be a genuine explanation, just talk to him."

"I'm not ready, not just yet."

"When you're ready sis. Just hear him out."

She nodded. "I'm glad you're here Kaden."

"Me too."

 Carly

I'd been back a week and had found out Kaden had been suspended for two weeks. That's why he was with mom and dad when they had all met me at camp, something about some guys speaking ill of me, some stuff he  

couldn't repeat because it was crude. We'd been close that week though he'd told me to talk to Aiden to be honest I was ignoring him. He'd come round the house a dozen times to see me and I had blatantly refused saying I wanted to spend time with Kaden cause I only saw him on holidays. It was growing closer to the exams. I had to knuckle down and concentrate and with Kaden trying to get my attention like a lost puppy it wasn't easy. I was leaving in June and he'd still be here another year until he officially left this hell hole. 

Unfortunately Monday rolled around and Kaden had returned to the private school after his two week suspension was officially over and he had  promised not to get into any more trouble for this term anyway.  

There would be no way of dodging Aiden apno matter what lengths I took. I was surprised that I had gotten through the first half the day avoiding him unless he wasn't in school but by lunch I found out he was in school and unfortunately for me that's when he colored me. "Why the hell have you been avoiding me Carly? I've been around your house several times to see you. Why are you avoiding me Carly? We all know your brother.  We all know that your brother isn't allowed to come home  when it's not the holidays. So why the hells going on?"

I shoved him off me. "For your information he was home cause he got suspended. He went back yesterday. So put that in your pipe and smoke it!"

"You could've still seen me Carly, Kaden is okay with us."

I scoffed. "But is there an us?"

"Of course there is. What the hell are you talking about Carls?"

"You're a fucking liar Aiden." I said clenching my fist. ". You've been cheating on me since the day I left."

"What the hell are you talking about Carls?"

"Don't lie to me Aiden I saw them I saw all of them you and her looking cosy, happy. Without me."  I said, struggling to hold the tears back. 

He moved closer.

I pushed him away. "Just leave me the hell alone, Aiden go to your whore I obviously meant nothing to you."  

I stormed away.

"Like I meant nothing to you."

I turned abruptly. "You meant everything to me Aiden, I'm not the chea you are."

"Really I find that hard to believe when you've been flaunting yourself between two guys. I say the cheat here is you yet I'm prepared to put it all behind me cause I love you!"

I stormed towards him, my arm jolted back when I reached him my fist connected with his face. "Im no fucking cheat aide Harper. I respect you enough not to get involved with anyone else but you unlike you who couldn't wait to jump in the next ride when I was gone. I trusted you Aiden and you betrayed me."

"I would never betray you Carly and you know it."

"Not what the photos say."

"What photos?"

"Are you that dumb It's not  like. I've not. Already mentioned them,  but then again  you ever listen to a damn word I ever say. The photos Alijah threw at me when he and his friends  thought that it was okay to kidnap me and throw accusations at me and a heap of photos of you and that whore in your class who has always got gooey eyes for you."

He pulled me into a class room and closed the door. "What the hell Aiden, what the hell are you doing."

He threw an envelope on the table and over twenty photos flew out of me, Kyler and Buldog Jr. Fuck they were of all of us laughing during, and some of me and bulldog Jr alone at the camp talking him hugging me. "How the hell did you get these?"

"The same way as you did. But they got posted."

"This isn't what you think Aiden. They're my friends. My mentors. They trained me at camp alongside some other soldiers ther, just I bonded with them more. He was just apologising to me for getting us in shit for drinking the night before the big games."

He could've done it without hugging you."

"He's affectionate Aiden, it meant nothing, just friends hugging."

"But the note said you were cheating with not only one guy but two. But him the most." He said, tapping the photo.

"He's a friend of Aiden like his father was friends with my mother and the other guy is the principal's son."

His eyes widened in shock. "I..I.."

She threw the photos on the table. "They picked these up at the cabin where they found me. I chose not to talk about it not until now. He told me you were cheating on me with her."

He looked at the photos and then at Carly. "We're study buddy's I made it clear to her I wasn't interested even if she was. I had you Carly. I love you, I'm not interested in any other girl."

She looked at him, could she trust his words? He knew she had trust issues. He was the first guy she'd let in because he knew the situation and he'd promised to take care of ehr and never hurt her but after this, could she trust him enough to get past it?

"Who sent you the photos, Aiden?"

"I have no clue but I recognised the camp emblem at the back."

She turned it over and lo and behold it was the camp stamp for camp Hollingway but who had he got it out and to Aiden without noticing. "That's the other camp across from the one I was at. Where Alijah went."

Aiden looked at her surprised the next words out of his lips were. "I think we've been played."
