I slowly open my eyes, a heavy arm lay across me. I looked down, no make that across my naked body. What the fucking hell happened last night? I heard a groan next to me. "Carly poo."

I looked over my shoulder at the last person I thought this would even be possible with. "Kaden." I croaked.

He smiled, pulling me closer to him, kissing my shoulder, his very noticeable hard on digging into my ass. "Good morning."

"What happened?"

"I think it's obvious, don't you?"

Fuck how much had I had to drink? How much had we both had to drink?

"Please don't tell me we had sex?"

"Would it so bad if we did?"

"You're my brother."

He pulled himself up, his green eyes piercing into mine. His muscular torso on show. I swallowed. No, I can't look at him like that. I refuse to look at him as anything more than my brother.

"Half brother." He corrected me.

"It doesn't matter if you're full, half or step, you're still my brother."

"I've never seen you like that Carly poo."

I stared at him. "Is that why mom and dad sent you away?"

"I guess, but they had to put the bullshit on. There's no sibling rivalry, Carly poo, and I think you know that as much as me, they just wanted to keep me away from you for as long as possible, hoping that my feelings for you would go away." He moved my hair away from my face. "The problem with that theory was that it never worked. Why the hell did you think I was so pissed when you got back with Aiden?"

"Cause you thought I was stupid for taking him back after the shit he said."

"That too. I love you Carly poo, I always have, and I never thought I would have a chance with you."

"What about Charlie?"

He grinned. "You know you're the only person who had us sussed out, but we had to keep it hush, hush just in case anyone didn't like that two guys were together."

"I don't care about your sexuality, Kaden, I won't love you any less if you're gay."

He smiles. "The truth is, Carly, I don't know who I am. I admit I like boys and girls. Does that make me a greedy fuck?"

I shook my head. "No, it just means you can't choose which sex you prefer more."

He smiled again. "And to answer your question: Charlie and I decided to part ways as he was leaving to go to London for uni. We both thought it was best knowing long distances would never work."

"So you used me for sex? Because he was no longer available?"

"It's not like that Carly poo?"

"So how is it, Kaden... Poo." I asked, sarcastically.

He grinned. "I love you okay more than I should. I tried to forget you. I really did, but the truth is I can't. And now this has happened I don't think I ever can. I want you Carly, I always have. I love you, we can make this work." He says, leaning forward.

"No we can't."

"Yes we can." He says, pressing his lips on mine, kissing me.

I suddenly pulled away. "I'm sorry Kaden, this will never work."

"Yes it will. What are you scared of?"

"Everything."

"Don't be. I will be with you and by your side every step of the way."
