The Hearing Day 2 Pt 2/ Day 3 Pt 1

"So what happened when you got there?"

"Hope told us that Carly wasn't there. Cameron wanted to know where she was; she said she wasn't sure. Carly had gone to pick up her results and she should be back. She tried to call her several times but it went through to voicemail."

"Is that when Mr Stevens called the police?"

"It was."

"Why didn't her mother call the police?

"Hope had rang around those who associated with her and Carly but no one had seen her. She was distraught so Cameron offered to call them for her."

"Then what happened, Sergeant Major Holoingway?"

"Everyone that knew Carly joined us at Hope's and we began mapping out where she was going then Aiden Harper, Alijah McKenley and his father joined us. That's when Alijah McKenley said she had gotten into a dark coloured car. Aiden let it slip that his brother was being released from prison but he wasn't sure what day."

"So you did some pretty good guess work and thought it was Mr Liam Stevens with Miss Carly Evans?"

"Yes we did. It was clear that she knew the person she got in the car with which narrowed down to her brother as she knew no one else with a car."

"I see. So.. you all decided to go and search for the two of them?"

"We told Hope and Joshua to stay behind with Aiden, Alijah and his father and we would find her and bring her back."

"And did you find her?"

"No. That would be my brother, Casapien and two of his soldiers who brought her back to the camp."

"I see." He paused. "I'll just ask you one more question, do you think Mr Cameron Stevens is capable of such heinous actions towards his own child?"

"No I don't."

He nodded.

The judge looked over the room. "Court is adjourned until tomorrow." He looked at me. "You may stand down."

I nodded and stepped out of the plaintiff box and headed out.

Carly glared at me full of hatred. "You're only doing this because he's your friend, you have no idea what he did to my brother."

"What he told you he did there's a difference and seeing isn't always believing."

"I hate you!" She said running forward only to be grabbed by the two soldiers to stop her.

"You're still a loud mouth good for nothing kid who if I had brought you up would've shown some respect toward me."

"And you've still got that holier than o bullshit Ora about you you're so full of shit you'll come unstuck one day you think just because you're his friend. He won't turn on you too. You're fucking delusional."

"Come on Carly it's not worth it you can't get thrown out you need to testify."

Her gaze heard and heated as she drew breaths out of her nose, sneering. She backed away and they left.

I looked at my brother. "I thought you taught her some respect?"

"I have, obviously she had none for you brother." He said turning and leaving.

I can't believe the shit that asshole come out with I would believe Liam over that sperm donor any fuckin day. Liam is no fuckin liar he has no need to lie those two prick on the other hand are so full of shit they can't see past it. I have barely slept the past two nights and feel like absolute shit this morning but I know I have to see this through till the very last day. I need to prove Liam's innocence. And that's what I'm doing today.
