Let's get into it

First Person POV - Y/n

"But why haven't you got Occlumency lessons anymore?" said Hermione, frowning.

"Well, I was already good at it and Harry finally also figured it out so Snape reckons we can carry on by ourselves," I explained since telling her the truth might end with us dead.

"So you've stopped having funny dreams?" said Hermione skeptically.

"Pretty much," said Harry, not looking at her.

"Well, I don't think Snape should stop until you're absolutely sure you can control them!" said Hermione seriously. "I think you should go back to him and ask-"

"I think we're fine. Plus we have bigger issues at hands like exams."

We were all sitting in the common room studying since exams were in a few weeks. Ron was shocked that we had less than a month.

"How can that come as a shock?" Hermione demanded.

"I dunno..." said Ron, "there's been a lot going on..."

"Well, there you are," she said, handing him his schedule, "if you follow that you should do fine."

Ron looked down it gloomily, but then brightened.

"You've given me an evening off every week!"

"That's for Quidditch practice," said Hermione and the smile faded from Ron's face.

"What's the point?" he said. "We've got about as much chance of winning the Quidditch Cup this year as Dad's got of becoming Minister of Magic..."

"Come on, we're not that behind," said Harry and I nodded. "We just have to score a lot of goals and Y/n is back on the team."

"Yeah and I didn't get to play in the last match and I have a lot of anger so I am very, VERY eager to just absolutely demolish the other team," I said cracking my knuckles.

"Anger from what?" asked Hermione.

"Everything," I said simply.

However it was mostly the memory playing through my head. I had believe my parents were genuine, so did Harry but everything Snape told us about them was right. They were arrogant. My dad didn't do anything and that was the problem. He didn't help which honestly seemed just as bad as what my mom did.

"Y/N!" yelled a voice and I was snapped out of my thoughts.

"What?" I asked staring at Hermione who was standing in front of me.

"Your career advice pamphlet," she said and she waved around a little piece of paper.

All fifth years will be required to attend a short meeting with their Head of House during the first week of the Summer term, in which they will be given the opportunity to discuss their future careers.

Your slot: Monday at Three

Monday came quick and I was waiting outside. Harry was right before me and he walked out looking very angry.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Beware of the witch," said Harry as he walked away.

"Harry, are you alright? I can be late if you want to talk-"

"No, it's alright. You go," said Harry faking a smile.

He basically pushed me into the room and I walked inside. I saw Umbridge in the corner and Professor McGonagall in the center.
