Let's get into it yuh!
First Person POV - Y/n
We descended the stairs to Snape's dungeon happier than we had arrived.
"You're late," said Snape coldly, as I closed the door behind us.
"Sorry, we were attacked by a dragon," I said smiling as Snape dropped a silvery strand into the Pensive.
"So," he said. "Have you both been practicing?"
"Yes," I lied.
"Well, we'll soon find out, won't we?" said Snape. "Wand out, Emrys."
"Me?" I asked since he hadn't called on me to do it in a while.
"It's been a long time, let's see if you are still up to par."
I nodded and moved into the usual position.
"On the count of three then," said Snape lazily but he didn't get to three.
His door slammed open and Malfoy came running in. Malfoy was looking at Snape and then in surprise.
"It's all right, Draco," said Snape, lowering his wand. "Potter is here for a little Remedial Potions and Emrys for extra credit."
"It's Professor Umbridge, sir — she needs your help," said Malfoy. "They've found Montague, sir. He's turned up jammed inside a toilet on the fourth floor."
I held back my laugh as Snape inquired about how he got there.
"We shall resume this lesson tomorrow evening instead," said Snape before he left.
I turned to Harry and he just stared at the door.
"Why couldn't that ever happen when it's my turn?" asked Harry and I laughed.
"At least we can go to that Room now," I said and Harry smirked.
We were about to leave when the light from the Pensive flashed. We both turned and I stared at it. It was Snape's thoughts...things he did not want us to see if we broke through his defenses.
"I know what's running through your mind," I reasoned to Harry, "We shouldn't."
"It would give us leverage on him, he seems to know everything about our pasts, so we might as well know something about him," said Harry.
"It's Snape, we know his past."
"Besides him going to school at the same time as our parents and a few details here and there, what do we really know?" asked Harry and I sighed.
"What do we even do with knowing hmm?"
"It's just for our personal usage," reasoned Harry and he grabbed my hand, "Come on."
He walked us both over and we stood before the pensive. I was doubtful about this but Harry didn't wait and placed his head inside.
I looked back once, praying Snape would take a while to get Montage out before I placed my head inside.
We were suddenly standing in the middle of the Great Hall, but the four House tables were gone. Instead there were more than a hundred smaller tables, all facing the same way, at each of which sat a student, head bent low, scribbling on a roll of parchment.
"It's an exam," I said to Harry who nodded.
I looked around and saw a teenager with black, greasy hair and I pointed him out to Harry. We walked towards him and then split up to look at the others.
