Let's get into it!!
First Person POV - Y/n
The bliss of winning the Quidditch Cup had lifted my spirits and Ron was also much happier. He was now being praised for his skills and girls older and younger were now batting their eyelashes at him more prominently.
Harry was also very happy since that night I had lived up to the promise I made and he seemed to be in bliss all the time. I don't think it was anything that spectacular but it seemed like it to him.
"I should be thankful for your stern talking to," said Ron as we walked towards Hagrid's cabin.
Apparently he had needed us to visit before the game but we hadn't gotten the chance because of all the chaos. But now we were all free and decided to visit him.
"You needed one," I said smiling.
We reached the cabin and saw Hagrid holding a bucket of meat.
"Who's that for?" asked Hermione.
"Well, I was waiting for yall to visit. Come on. We got ter be quick," said Hagrid and he started walking into the forest quickly.
We followed and he led us through the forest on a trail that looked like it had been walked many times.
"What is it, Hagrid?" asked Hermione, looking around.
"Yeh-yeh'll see in a mo'," said Hagrid, looking over his shoulder.
"Hagrid, why are you armed?" I asked as I saw the crossbow on his back, "If you're taking us to see those stupid spiders again, so help me Hagrid-"
"No, no," said Hagrid as Ron made a shuddering sound, "It's not that. It is jus' a precaution."
The path was becoming increasingly overgrown and the trees grew so closely together as we walked farther and farther into the forest that it was as dark as dusk. I was slowly growing uneasy and I had one hand in my bag, holding the sword.
"Hagrid?" said Ron. "Where are we going?"
"Bit further," said Hagrid over his shoulder. "C'mon...We need ter keep together now..."
"Hagrid, would it be all right if we lit our wands?" said Hermione quietly.
"Er...all righ'," Hagrid whispered back. "In fact..."
He stopped suddenly and turned around. Hermione walked right into him and was knocked over backward. I caught her just before she hit the forest floor.
"Maybe we bes' jus' stop fer a momen', so I can...fill yeh in," said Hagrid. "Before we ge' there, like."
"Good!" said Hermione.
"Righ," said Hagrid. "Wel...see...the thing is...Well, there's a good chance I'm goin' ter be gettin' the sack any day now."
"But you've lasted this long-" Hermione said. "What makes you think-"
"Umbridge reckons it was me that put tha' niffler in her office."
"And was it?" said Ron.
"No, it ruddy well wasn'!" said Hagrid. "On'y anythin' ter do with magical creatures an' she thinks it's got somethin' ter do with me. Yeh know she's bin lookin' fer a chance ter get rid of me ever since I got back."
"It's not the end o' the world," continued Hagrid, "I'll be able ter help Dumbledore once I'm outta here, I can be useful ter the Order. An' you lot'll have Grubbly-Plank, yeh'll-yeh'll get through yer exams fine so I'll need you two ter help me."
