♬ 99 - The Attack

In the girls' dorm.

McKayla and Chase are lying on the bed, engaged in caresses and kisses.

McKayla smiles and looks into Chase's eyes "So, in a week the dance academy classes start. Are you excited?" she asks, Chase smiles back stroking McKayla's cheek

"Are you asking me if I'm excited to be the dance partner of the girl I'm madly in love with? Isn't the answer obvious?" He grins, McKayla gives Chase a light kiss "It's just that I like to hear you talk about, reassuring me" she says.

Chase opens his arms for an embrace "I can reassure you, if that's what you like to hear" he says softly, McKayla smiles "I love how you always know exactly what to say to make me feel good." She runs her finger around his lips

Chase laughs softly "I just do what I can to keep you smiling." He says "Aw tou so freaking cute" McKayla kisses him firmly, Chase widens the kiss by holding the back of her neck.

Suddenly, the door opens abruptly and Bree enters, her face pale and eyes tearful. McKayla and Chase quickly pull away, surprised by the interruption.

"Bree? What's going on?" McKayla says quickly standing up, concerned. "Are you okay?" Chase asks "I broke up with Mike." Bree responds and throws herself on Skylar's bed.

Chase stands up and approaching, with a worried expression "What? Bree, you seemed so happy with him. What's wrong?" He asks, Bree sits on the edge of the bed, head down.

"He's great. But that's not what matters. I broke up with him because it wasn't fair to stay with him if I'm in love with someone else." Bree says "In love?" Chase asks, Bree nods.

McKayla moves closer and sitting beside Bree "I've been in love with Luke since the first day I saw him" Bree sniffs.

Chase glances at McKayla with a surprised expression, trying to stay composed "And...How did Mike react?" He asks, Bree sighs in frustration "He was so understanding. Accepted everything so well, which only makes it harder. He's so perfect that it's almost irritating." She says.

McKayla places a comforting hand on Bree's shoulder "I understand. It must be really tough dealing with that. But what's important is being honest with your feelings." She says.

Chase sits on the other side of Bree "That's true. Luke loves you Bree. Maybe it's finally time for you two to be honest with your feelings and finally accept each other" he says.

Bree smiles lightly "Thank you, guys. I really needed to talk to someone." She says, McKayla hugs Bree "We're here for that. We'll work through this together." She says, Chase rests his head on Bree's shoulder, hugging her.

Bree smiles faintly, relieved by the support. McKayla and Chase exchange discreet looks, a mix of happiness and concern, but remain supportive and understanding.

That night at Davenport Tower.

Skylar is in the kitchen reading a magazine while Kaz is on the couch using a tablet and Oliver is on his phone.

McKayla and Chase are cuddling in the armchair whispering compliments to each other. McKayla lets out a light laugh as Chase plants several kisses on her neck.
