October came and with that the first Hogsmead trip of the year arrived too. It wasn't as exciting when you reach the older years in Adelaide's opinion, it just became a normality. And if you knew the way, you could just sneak out yourself. So, the build up from years prior just wasn't there.

"Draco invited me to the Three Broomsticks," Astoria said in the morning, "I'm excited, maybe this year is the year."

Alex groaned quietly, "Have fun, Tori." The brunette skipped out the room, "What have you got planned?"

"Nothing," Adelaide said, "Was going to go to the Three Broomsticks for a drink but I don't know if I can put up with those two."

"I'll come with you, Blaise and Lucas aren't going because they forgot about their homework so," The girl said.

Adelaide nodded, "Cool, you ready?"

"Yeah, let me just find my shoes."

The Three Broomsticks was crowded, given it was freezing outside, and Adelaide and Alex were lucky to get a table, "What's your plans for Christmas?"

Adelaide shrugged, it was going to be different this year, no Theo or Marlene, "Probably just drink with Regulus, I reckon dad will go to the Weasley's but that's not my place, you know?"

"Yeah, I'm thinking I'm going to stay at school this year, its awkward at home," Alex said.

"You could always come to mine, Regulus won't mind at all," Adelaide said, "And then at least we can play Monopoly with three people."

"I'm still baffled that's your idea of fun."

"It is."

"Theo almost broke my arm one time."

The mention of the boy brought a silence, no one had spoken of the loss that much, it pained them all.

"Oh fuck," Adelaide muttered, "The three musketeers just walked in."

Alex swung her head around, "You still not speaking to him?"

"No, he doesn't speak to me. I mean what sane person expects someone who just died and lost their best friend to still want to be in a relationship. It's bloody mental."

"I get that," She said, "At least it means you won't go easy on him in Quidditch."

"I don't go easy on anyone. Go big or go home."

Adelaide stood up, "I'm going toilet, then I'm going back, you coming?"

"No, I've got to pick up some supplies, I'll see you back at the castle though."

The blonde nodded and went to the toilet, "Tori, how's Draco?"

"Huh?" The girl spun around, a package in her hands, "He's fine, I have to take this to the castle."

"What? Tori wait-"

But the girl was gone out of the door, "The fuck?" Adelaide ran out after, catching up to Astoria on the path back, "What is it?"

"None of your business."

"Tori! What is it?"

Astoria ignored her and Adelaide grabbed her hand. The girl tugged back, gripping the package tightly in her hands, "Leave it!"

The package fell to the ground and in an instant, Astoria rose into the air, her arms outstretched. The fierce wind causing her hair to wrap around her face.

Adelaide froze. Looking at Astoria then the package.

"What is it?" A voice asked, and Harry, Hermione and Ron were all stood behind her.
