(Y/n) looked around nervously before looking back at Luffy, who noticed Mihawk as well by now.
"This is no time for either of us to be fighting a man as strong as him!!" The captain said as if reading the girl's mind.
'It's not just Mihawk either... behind him are some of the strongest ranked members of the marine, the three admirals, and even if we get past all of them, we have Luffy's grandfather and that fleet admiral guarding Ace directly.' She thought, eyes widening as Mihawk swung his sword, leaving ripples and cracks in the ground that made their way in the direction of the two.

"Get out of the way!" Luffy exclaimed before the two jumped away from the attack. (Y/n) knew that she had to act quickly, at least to get Luffy on the other side.
"Luffy, you need to trust me here! I need to get you past Mihawk!" She said as an idea hit her. Luffy, who was busy catching his breath, looked oddly at her.
"And how? Besides, I need you with me as well! I am not leaving you here alone!"

"You talk too much, Straw Hat."
Mihawk said as he swung his sword in Luffy's direction, causing him to jump out of the way as the attack injured his arm.
"Ow!!"
"Luffy, we can't both go now!" She said before snapping her fingers.
'Get out of here!'
Mihawk raised an eyebrow as he watched Luffy's body turn into many butterflies before looking over at (Y/n).

"So that's your devil fruit power."
The younger froze as she felt Mihawk look at her, and she slowly looked back.
'He looked at me! I don't know if I should cry because of happiness or fear because he will definitely kill me now!' She thought as he ran in her direction while lifting his sword up.
'This was not the close-up I wanted of him!' (Y/n) thought as she quickly moved away before his swing could hit her.

'Pretty fast. I will give her that.' Mihawk thought as he started attacking her again, not giving (Y/n) much time to take a breath or anything.
'He is fast! And he is pretty precise, too. Well, he is the world's number one swordsman, after all.' She thought, flinching as he finally landed a hit on her arm.

"The more you move, the further you move away from your captain and his brother." Mihawk said in a calm voice, stopping his attacks for a bit to look at (Y/n) s she grabbed her bleeding arm.
"Thanks for telling me the obvious." She said between labored breaths, glancing from Mihawk to the gallows where Ace was.

"It's a shame that you are fighting so much. Your captain over there is too weak to save his brother. You should just give up and offer yourself up to the government. It will cause you less damage than if I were to capture you." Mihawk said before running up to her to swing his sword again. (Y/n) felt a small amount of anger bubble up inside of her again when she heard his comment and snapped her fingers, her body disappearing again and the butterflies scattered around the place, dodging the attack.

Mihawk stopped to look at the scenery for a moment, finding the image oddly enticing until one of the soldiers snapped him out of it.
"The ice wall is breaking!"
The swordsman looked at the wave Aokiji had frozen earlier, and the top part was indeed sliced with a clean cut and was now falling to the shore where some marine and pirates were fighting.

'I wasn't careful there.' He thought before noticing that the insects from earlier were gone. Feeling someone behind himself, Mihawk looked back and noticed (Y/n) standing a few meters behind him as a few red butterflies laid on her arm.
"So you snuck past me? You are pretty smart, I will give her that, but in terms of strength, you are lacking."
