What Ivankov was actually thinking:

'Great, her haoushoku haki is just as strong as her father's. To add on that, she can't even control it yet, but it even knocked down the admirals.' Ivankov groaned after he recovered from (Y/n)'s earlier outburst before looking at the state the marine and pirates were. He then quickly turned his attention to (Y/n), who was crying while holding tightly onto the horrified and unconscious Luffy.
"Straw Hat boy!!!! (Y/n)!!! How is he doing?!" Ivankov yelled as the girl looked back at him with a lost expression as tears streamed down her face.

"He isn't responding to anything!! The only reason I can tell that he is alive is because he is breathing!"
'His mind must have collapsed!' Ivankov thought as the girl called out for the fishman again.
"Jinbei!!! Come over here and take Luffy to a doctor!! His breathing is growing weaker!!" (Y/n) yelled as the man made his way towards them.
"I am coming, (Y/n), Luffy! Stay where you are!"

'Why did I even say that? Luffy is unconscious, and (Y/n) doesn't seem to want to go of Luffy at all.' Jinbei thought as he took notice of her tight hold around Luffy. The fishman quickened his steps when he saw Akainu recover from his earlier fall, and lava started to come out of his hand again.
'Luffy! (Y/n)!!'
The admiral smirked as he saw (Y/n)'s crying state, giving him a big sense of satisfaction when he realized that he was the reason for her current state. And he loved it more than anything.

'It's basically like seeing (M/n) crying. Wonderful. I hope she is happy with the anguish she will cause her daughter in a few.' Akainu thought as he raised his fist up again.
"Sakazuki!!! Step back! Stop that!!" Sengoku yelled from the distance as he listened to the cries of granddaughter, confusing some of the vice-admirals.
"Admiral Akainu is killing the enemies here, fleet admiral."
"Why should he stop?"

Marco took notice of Akainu's recovery and quickly got up from the ground as his arms turned into phoenix wings.
'Kiddo!!'
"Any last words?"
(Y/n) glared up at the man through her tears before glancing at Ace's body, and it gave her the feeling like she wanted to throw up then and there.
'I can't move at all. It's like I am paralyzed now.' She gulped as the admiral chuckled.
"Tell your mom that I said -"
"You will not take their lives!!!" Marco, who was able to stop Akainu's assault for now, yelled as he shielded (Y/n) and Luffy from the lava.

"Captain Marco?!" One of his men yelled as Marco's anger bubbled up more and more the more he looked at Akain.
"Jinbei!! Get little sister and Ace's little brother out of here!!"
"Got it!!" The fishman nodded at Marco, and grabbed the two off of the floor.
"Men!! We made a promise to the old man!! He wants us to protect our little sister, and now it's that time! Luffy was the determination that allowed Ace to live!! We are going to protect these two, got it?!" Marco yelled at the pirates as he pushed Akainu back.

"Jinbei, I am fine!! I will just be slowing you down!! Take Luffy to a doctor. He needs one more than I do!!" (Y/n) yelled at the fishman as more tears started falling down her face.
"Are you out of your mind?! You will definitely die if I leave you! I am not doing it!" Jinbei looked down at her as he ran.

"Then let me die!! Just let me die!! I couldn't protect the one person who mattered to Luffy the most! If someone had to die today, it should have been me and not Ace!!" (Y/n) said with a voice full of regret and guilt as the image of Luffy yelling for his dead brother kept replaying in her head.
'I can still hear his scream!' She thought.
