"Garp, I'm going to tell them everything." Sengoku announced to the vice-admiral as they made their way to the Plaza where Ace, the Shichibukai, and other Marine members were waiting for them. Garp, who hadn't been in the best mood ever since Ace was captured, just shrugged his shoulders, and looked away from the fleet admiral.
"Do as you wish... I will be down there."

Sengoku grunted and walked upbthe stairs where the two executioners and Ace were, waiting for the command to execute the pirate as he solemnly looked around.
'Everyone... Thank you for making me feel wanted.' Ace thought as the memories of his stay on Whitebeards ship and his childhood with Luffy flashed before his eyes.
"Move aside, men. And give me that den den mush." Sengoku said as he arrived at Ace's side while a man gave him the snail.
"Here you go, sir."

Sengoku looked at Ace for a moment as the pirate kept his gaze down. Clearing his throat, the fleet admiral picked up the snail and spoke up.
"Men, I have something crucial to tell all of you. Something about the true meaning of Portgas D Ace meeting his end here today!"
Sengoku's voice rang through the Plaza as the camera focused on him. The Marine members, as well as the reporters on Sabaody who were watching the broadcasting, listened carefully.

"Fleet admiral..."
"The sin is not with you, Garp." An older woman said as she glanced at Garp, who gave her a forced laugh.
"You can get awfully kind sometimes, ol' Tsuru-chan!"
Sengoku looked at Ace for a moment before speaking up.
"Ace. Tell me the name of your father."
The said pirate kept quiet for a moment, clenching his fists that were tied behind his back.
"My father... is Whitebeard!!!"

"He is not!" Sengoku retorted, annoying Ace even more, since he already knew where this was going.
"Yes, he is!! Whitebeard is my only father! I have no other!!"
Garp solemnly watched Ace protest since he knew what kind of resentment he harbored for the man who was biologically his father, which was one of the reasons why Ace was so wanted by the government in the first place.

"Back then, we searched as though our lives were dependent on it. Searching for the possibility that there existed a child of that man on the island. Based on nothing but the leads we got from the Cipher Pol, we investigated all newborn children, all children who were yet to be born, and their mothers, but we ultimately found nothing."
'Shut up.' Ace gritted his teeth as Sengoku went on and on. He really wasn't in the mood to listen to that now.

"Or so we thought! But, your mother did something incredible that ended up costing her life and saving yours. In the South Blue lies an island named Baterilla. Your mother was Portgas D Rouge! Out of her love for her, she carried her son for a full 20 months. And then, when the time of the birth came, her strength all but spent... she left the world as you entered it! One year and three months after the father's death... a child was born! A child bearing the most accursed blood to be found in the world! That child is you!"

Ace kept quiet, his heart breaking the more Sengoku spoke as his feelings went into a turmoil.
"Don't pretend like you don't know! Your father is none other than the Pirate King  Gold Roger!!"
The whole Plaza went silent as the reporters back on Sabaody went into a frenzy over this news. There were always some rumors that Roger had a child, but that's all they ever were, rumors. But now there was proof of them! The fleet admiral himself confirmed it, after all.

"Fire-Fist Ace... is the son of Gold Roger?!" One Marine soldier finally yelled out as a few joined in.
"I can't believe it... the Pirate King's blood still lives on?!"
"His son still lives on?! It's truly a miracle!" Moria, who stood next to his fellow Shichibukai said gleefully.
"Oho... This is quite something." Doflamingo smirked.
