"Luffy, what's the plan exactly? Should we just storm forward?" (Y/n) glanced over at the said captain, who kept glaring at the bewildered marines, neither noticing a specific ally of theirs missing from the ship.
"I am thinking... Could you possibly somehow use your devil fruit to get the keys for Ace's shackles?"
"Well, I can. I just need to see where they are -"
"Hm? Where did Croco-boy go?" Ivankov's question made the two Straw Hats look at him oddly for a moment.

"What do you mean?" Luffy looked around until they looked at Buggy, who was yelling and pointing at Whitebeard's ship.
"Over there!! Why that little.... He is trying to steal my glory!!"
(Y/n)'s heart dropped as she saw the former Shichibukai sneaking up behind Whitebeard, his hook up in the air, and prepared to strike the man.

'What is he doing now?!' She thought as both Luffy and her quickly jumped into action to stop him.
"Crocodile is after Whitebeard!!"
"Old man!"
Whitebeard lazily glanced back at Crocodile, who stared at him in resentment while smirking.
"It's been a while, Whitebeard-"
The man was cut off as Luffy and (Y/n), surpsingly, managed to block his planned attack on the man known as the strongest man.

"You two!" Crocodile growled as he jumped away a little, landing on the ground along with them.
"What's wrong with you?!" (Y/n) yelled while taking a few deep breaths.
"This is Whitebeard we are talking about?! Why would you attack him like this?! Especially now!"
"We had an agreement, did we not? Why are you two defending Whitebeard now?" Crocodile raised an eyebrow at the two as Luffy stepped in front of (Y/n).

"Why did we stop you? Well, I don't know... It could be that we are surrounded by his pirates and that we have Ace to worry about now!" The girl pointed out, shivering in fright as she felt the old man look over at the two.
'We are going to die, aren't we?' She gulped, not daring to look at Whitebeard as Luffy spoke up.
"Wait. So this is Whitebeard?! Then I am not letting you touch him! He means a lot to Ace!" The captain exclaimed at the former Shichibukai.

"Boy..."
'Ahh! We will die!' (Y/n), and Luffy looked back at Whitebeard as he spoke, one looking scared while the other was indifferent to Whitebeard's presence.
"Hm?"
"That Straw Hat you are wearing, it bears a lot of resemblance to the one Red Head wore..."
"Oh, you know Shanks? I'm borrowing this hat from him!"
Luffy's simple answer did leave (Y/n) at a loss for words for a moment and impressed too.

'He really doesn't care to who he is talking right now!' She thought as Whitebeard looked over at the two.
"You and this girl are here to save your brother, right?"
"That's right!" Luffy nodded as the old man grunted.
"Don't bother, you two. You will just be throwing your lives away."
(Y/n)'s felt her scared attitude diminish as Whitebeard said that, and her eye twitched for a short moment.
"What?! I am not going to back down!" Luffy exclaimed in anger, causing Buggy and Ivankov to yell at him to shut up.

"What did you just say?" The girl asked as the corners of her mouth twitched.
"What I said. You two are too weak for a battlefield like this. My crew and I are more than enough for this. You two are not fit for it."
"I see, I see. Luffy, hold this." (Y/n) said and handed him her knife as he nodded.
"Yeah, sure." The captain nodded as the other pirates looked at oddly at the trio, wondering what may happen next.

"Whitebeard-san, may I please intervene in your speech for a moment?" (Y/n) flew up to the man's face as he eyes her in confusion for a bit.
"Sure."
"Thank you." She said with a tight smile while clearing her throat.
"(Y/n)?" Luffy wondered as Buggy and Ivankov grew more nervous.
"What is she doing?" The clown pirate whispered to Ivankov, who shrugged his shoulders.
"She is a Straw Hat pirate. Who knows what's in her head."
