(Y/n) stayed quiet as she stared the blond man up and down, getting more and more uneasy as the time passed.
'He really looks like someone who would own a slave auction house...'
"So you know of me? I am quite flattered." Doflamingo spoke up as (Y/n) woke up from her thoughts, noticing some silver strings shooting out of his fingers and in her direction.

'A devil fruit?' She thought, jumping away while cutting up some of the strings with her knife. This reaction (Y/n) showed caused Doflamingo to chuckle in amusement, and he retrieved the strings while the girl landed a few meters further.
'Observation haki....' He thought.
"I just know what I have read in the newspapers and of your conversation with that announcer on Sabaody." Doflamingo nodded before sighing in fake boredom.

"Well, what can I say? You got me there. Being a Shichibukai gets me out of many troubles, including slave trade. But, that's a thing of the past."
"What do you mean?" (Y/n) wondered as he unexpectedly shot the string her way again, wrapping them around her.
"What the -" She flinched as she tried to get out, only for them to stab into her skin more. Laughing, Doflamingo walked up to (Y/n) and grabbed her chin rather tightly.
'Eww... This would have been way hotter if it was Mihawk.' She thought as the man crouched down to be on her eye level.

"What I mean is that you and your little crew caused quite a disturbance in the economy of that house, but I gave up on that business even before your crew did what they did." Doflamingo stared as (Y/n) glared him up and down when an idea hit her.
'Seems basic, but it might work.'
"And what is that new business you are planning?" (Y/n) asked in fake curiosity, nagging the Shichibukai to speak further in order to distract him.

"Curious? Well, it's something that might be in your line of work. You see, I know quite a lot about you thanks to the World Government. How about this, I will let you go."
"And what's the catch?" (Y/n) asked as he discreetly freed one of her legs as the strings got looser.
"The catch is that you work for me. I could use that knowledge of yours in poison, and you will get my protection... and more."
(Y/n) shuddered a little as he said the last part, not liking how suggestive it sounded.

"That's quite an unbelievable offer... How could I possibly say no?"
Doflamingo grinned at how ready she sounded to join him, but before he could say anything, he felt quite a painful feeling between his legs as (Y/n) kicked him with her free leg.
"But, I don't work with slave traders, former or not."

(Y/n) answered as she ripped herself out of the strings while Doflamingo fell to his knees in pain.
'There go the kids.' She thought while running off before Doflamingo could get up. The said Shichibukai, while in pain, still looked in (Y/n)'s direction while smirking.
"Not all too bad.... Let's see for how long you can run away from me."

"Those Straw Hat pirates are taking all the glory from us!" One of the escapees who stayed behind with Buggy and Mr. 3 exclaimed as a few others joined I'm.
"Captain Buggy, we can't let them beat us!"
"Let's take Whitebeard's head!!"
"Good thinking!!" The men cheered as Biggy nervously looked around.
"L-listen! We can't just do it like that now! Things changed!" Mr. 3 raised an eyebrow at Buggy's words as the escapees looked at him suspiciously.
"Are you actually weak, captain Buggy?"

"Me?! Weak?! The great Buggy is not afraid of anyone, let alone Whitebeard!" Tbe clown captain explained, earning Whitebeard's and Marco's attention in the process.
"Uhm... Buggy." Mr. 3 spoke as he noticed them staring at them.
"Not now!" Buggy shushed before looking at the inmates again.
"Listen, when I talked about taking down Whitebeard, (Y/n) had no direct connection with Whitebeard."
"Huh?" The escapees looked at the clown captain in confusion as he tried to come up with a quick and cohesive excuse.
