Amelia stood on the deck of the Rhode Island beach house, staring out at the waves crashing against the shore. The sky was a brilliant shade of blue, and the sun hung low on the horizon, casting a golden glow over everything. It was beautiful, but today, the beauty only made her heart ache.

The past few weeks had been like a dream. Giving Logan another chance had turned out to be the best decision she'd ever made. They'd spent countless hours together, laughing, talking, and just enjoying each other's company. They had wandered the beach, had late-night conversations under the stars, and shared quiet moments that made Amelia feel like she was part of something special. She couldn't help but smile at the thought of them being officially boyfriend and girlfriend.

But now, the dream was coming to an end. The family was packing up, loading the cars, and getting ready to head back to their real lives. For Amelia, that meant leaving behind the peaceful beach, the carefree days, and most of all, Logan. It meant going back to the hustle and bustle of Taylor's mansion in LA, where Taylor would soon start preparing for the next leg of her tour.

"Amelia," Taylor called from the doorway, pulling her out of her thoughts. "We're almost ready to go. Do you have everything packed?"

Amelia nodded, though her heart wasn't in it. "Yeah, just about."

Taylor walked over, her expression softening when she saw the look on Amelia's face. "I know it's hard to leave, but we'll come back. And it's not like you and Logan can't keep in touch. There's always texting, FaceTime..."

"I know," Amelia said, trying to muster a smile. "It's just... I'm going to miss this place. And him."

Taylor gave her a sympathetic look and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "It's okay to be sad, but remember that this isn't the end. You've got some amazing memories to hold onto, and there will be more to make in the future. Plus, we'll be busy getting ready for the tour, so you won't have too much time to be sad."

Amelia nodded, trying to focus on the positives. She'd made it through so much already, and she could handle this too. But as she thought about the next few weeks, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was changing. She just hoped that whatever came next, it would be worth it.

"Hey, there's someone who wants to see you before we go," Taylor said, nodding toward the path leading to the beach.

Amelia's heart skipped a beat as she saw Logan making his way up from the sand. He was carrying something in his hand, and as he got closer, she realized it was a small box.

"Logan," she breathed, feeling a rush of emotions.

"Hey," he said, his smile a little sad as he handed her the box. "I wanted to give you something before you go."

Amelia took the box, opening it to find a delicate seashell necklace inside. The shell was small, polished smooth by the ocean, and it shimmered in the light.

"It's beautiful," she whispered, touched by the gesture.

Logan reached out, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I thought it could be a little piece of the beach to take with you. Something to remind you of all the good times we had here."

Amelia felt tears prick her eyes, but she blinked them back. "Thank you, Logan. I'll wear it all the time."

He smiled, pulling her into a hug. "We'll see each other again soon, I promise."

"I know," she murmured against his shoulder, trying to hold onto the moment for as long as she could. "But I'm still going to miss you."

"I'll miss you too," Logan said, his voice soft. He pulled back slightly, looking into her eyes. "But this isn't goodbye. It's just... see you later."

Amelia nodded, and before she knew it, they were kissing, a sweet, lingering kiss that said everything they couldn't put into words. When they finally pulled apart, she felt a little lighter, like maybe, just maybe, she could do this.

"Come on," Logan said, giving her hand a squeeze. "You should probably finish packing."

Amelia laughed softly, wiping away the last of her tears. "Yeah, I guess I should."

With one last look at the beach, the waves, and the memories they'd made, Amelia turned and walked back toward the house, her hand still intertwined with Logan's. Whatever happened next, she knew she could face it. She had her family, her memories, and now, a new part of her life to look forward to. And as they all packed up and headed back to LA, she couldn't help but feel a little excited about what the future might hold.
