A Certain Someone: Chapter 53 - Dinner

The BBQ restaurant near the high school buzzed with a lively crowd. It was the weekend, and although most students were away on vacation, Class A's gathering ensured the place was far from empty. With the back room reserved just for them, the group had more space than usual.

Sheng Wang laughed. "We might just give it a try!"

Ben pointed at andy and Liza, who were debating their diets. "These two are always on a hunger strike, but I doubt they'll eat more than a few skewers."

Chili, cheeks reddening, playfully shoved ben . "Stop talking!"

Ben winced and raised his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright. I get it. You don't need to lose weight to go to heaven."

kyle, enjoying the banter, leaned toward Sheng Wang and teased, "Looks like you're quite popular tonight."

Sheng Wang looked puzzled. "Popular? How so?"

"Just kidding," kyle said with a wink. "You're definitely the talk of the town."

Sheng Wang rubbed his nose, smiling. He noticed how Chili's blush deepened whenever she was nearby, ben realizing that some people are just naturally shy.

As the evening progressed, the conversation turned to more personal matters. kyle , with a mischievous grin, asked Sheng Wang, "So, are you enjoying the chaos?"

Sheng Wang nodded, taking in the lively scene. "It's great. Just waiting for everyone to settle in."

A few moments later, Jiang Tian arrived with a bag of fragrant pears. Sheng Wang's face lit up when he saw him. "Finally! Did you bring the pears?"

Jiang Tian grinned. "Yep, they're on the bar. Enjoy!"

As they dug into the feast, Sheng Wang couldn't help but glance at Jiang Tian, who had seated himself beside him. Their eyes met, and Jiang Tian leaned in, whispering softly, "After dinner, want to go for a walk outside?"

Sheng Wang's heart skipped a beat. He nodded with a smile. "Sure. I'd love that."

The evening was filled with laughter, clinking glasses, and the delicious aroma of BBQ. Kyle and Jr, despite being older, mingled effortlessly with the students, adding to the warm atmosphere.

When the conversation turned to high school relationships, ben , with a cheeky smile, asked kyle , "Have you ever had a high school romance?"
