A Certain Someone Chapter 92: Wasteland
Jiang Tian perched on the edge of the podium, his words still echoing in the room as he glanced over at Sheng Wang's empty desk. With a sigh of relief, he made his way back to Lili Tower. Finally, Sheng Wang had returned to Class A, but the seat that had been empty for so long was now oddly vacant.
Confused, Jiang Tian asked Ben, "What happened to Hope?"
Ben's face froze, and the room fell silent. "Brother Sheng went to the Guidance's Office," Ben finally said, his voice low. "There was a... situation."
Jiang Tian's heart sank. He hurried to the office, his mind racing. When he burst through the door, Sir Vince looked at him with a mix of sympathy and concern.
"What's going on?" Jiang Tian asked urgently.
Sir Vince sighed. "He was taken away by his father."
"Taken away? Where?" Jiang Tian's voice trembled.
"I don't know," Sir Vince said. "But... Jiang Tian, it's complicated."
Without another word, Jiang Tian dashed out of the office, his thoughts clouded by images of Sheng Wang and his father.
Clark broke the silence. "When did this start?" he asked, trying to control his anger.
"I don't remember," Sheng Wang replied quietly.
Clark slammed his hand on the steering wheel. "Don't remember? You need to tell me the truth anak!"
"gusto ko siya dad..," Sheng Wang said, his voice firm. "I tried to be with him, and I'm happy when I'm around him. I just want to be with him."
Clark's face contorted with confusion and frustration. "But why? Why are you making this so difficult huh? Anak please?"
Sheng Wang's eyes filled with tears. "Because it's who I am. I'm gay. It's not something I chose, it's just... me."
Clark's shoulders slumped as he listened, realizing the depth of his son's struggle. "I didn't know you felt this way," he said softly.
Sheng Wang's heart ached. "gusto ko lang naman na maintidihan mo dad.." napayuko nalang ito habang umiiyak.
As the car remained parked in the desolate area, Clark's anger faded into silence. "You don't have to go back to school," he finally said. "Aayusin ko ang paglipat mo."
"NO! ," umiling si Sheng Wang.
" dito lang ako. Gusto kong maging kung saan ako nababagay."
Clark's eyes softened. "fine!. But remember, you need to be honest about who you are."
Sheng Wang nodded, grateful for the understanding. As they drove back, he couldn't help but think about Jiang Tian, who had become a beacon of light in his life.
Back at school, Jiang Tian finally reached Sheng Wang's familiar street. He saw Sheng Wang's figure in the distance and ran toward him. When they met, Jiang Tian took Sheng Wang's hands in his own.
"I was worried, pinag aalala mo ako..." Jiang Tian said softly.
"I just wanted to be here for you."
Sheng Wang's eyes brightened, and he squeezed Jiang Tian's hands. "Thank you. I need you."
As they stood together, the weight of their struggles seemed to lift, replaced by the warmth of their connection. In that moment, surrounded by the quiet of the streets, they found solace in each other's presence.
