A Certain Someone Chapter 66: "Vacation"
Jiang Tian glanced over at Sheng Wang as they waited for their ride to the training camp. The early morning chill was palpable, and Sheng Wang's thin coat didn't seem to be enough against the biting wind.
" nangnginginig ka...," Jiang Tian said, frowning. "You should have worn something warmer."
Sheng Wang tried to brush off the concern with a smile. "I'm fine. Just a little cold, that's all."
Jiang Tian's eyes softened. "You always say you're fine, even when you're not." He unzipped his own jacket and draped it over Sheng Wang's shoulders. "Here. This should help."
Sheng Wang's cheeks flushed with a mix of embarrassment and warmth. "Thanks, Jiang Tian."
The journey continued, with occasional stops and chats that helped lighten the mood. When they finally arrived at the training camp, a remote school in the mountains, Sheng Wang was relieved. "This place is pretty far out, isn't it?" he remarked, looking around at the dense forest.
Mrs. Sarah chuckled. "We wanted to keep you all away from distractions. And trust me, managing a bunch of teenagers in the city is not easy."
As they settled into their modest dormitory, Jiang Tian and Sheng Wang shared a room, a twist of fate that felt like a small victory. "Well, this is going to be our home for a while," Jiang Tian said, handing Sheng Wang a door card. "Let's make the best of it."
Sheng Wang looked around the simple but functional room, feeling a sense of anticipation. "Yeah, let's."
The day ended with a quiet moment between them. Jiang Tian sat by the window, typing something on his phone, while Sheng Wang lay on his bed, thinking about the day's events. He turned to Jiang Tian, who glanced up from his phone with a soft smile.
"You know," Sheng Wang said, "today wasn't so bad, thanks to you."
Jiang Tian's smile widened. "I'm glad to hear that. It's nice to be able to share these moments with you."
Sheng Wang felt his heart skip a beat. "Yeah. It really is."
As they both settled in for the night, the challenges of the training camp seemed a little less daunting, thanks to the quiet understanding and sweet moments they shared. The journey was far from over, but for now, Sheng Wang was content, knowing he wasn't facing it alone.
