Chapter 95: Reunion

Sheng Wang's heart raced as he walked into the restaurant, dragging his tired feet behind him. The busy night had left him craving a moment to unwind, but tonight was supposed to be a dinner with an important client. Little did he know, this night would turn into something unforgettable.

"J-jiang Tian?" Sheng Wang's voice was barely a whisper, the name almost foreign on his lips after all these years.

Jiang Tian's eyes widened. "Sheng Wang? I... didn't expect to see you here."

They stood there for a moment, the noise of the restaurant fading into the background. Sheng Wang found himself struggling for words, while Jiang Tian looked equally lost.

"Brother," Sheng Wang finally said, his voice cracking slightly.

Jiang Tian's face softened, a small smile tugging at his lips. "It's been a long time, hasn't it?"

"Pretty much," Sheng Wang replied, feeling more relaxed. "Though I've been trying to reconnect with old friends. It's been a journey."

Jiang Tian's eyes twinkled with warmth. "I'm glad to hear that. It sounds like you've been busy."

Sheng Wang hesitated before speaking again. "Would you... like to join us for dinner? It'd be nice to catch up."

Jiang Tian's smile widened. "I'd like that."
