Hey It's Millie and/or Kalypso. First of all, thank you for reading. Second of all the reason I'm doing this and not as a note (for you ao3 readers) is because of the other two sites I post this to (fanfiction.net and wattpad). This note is for everyone though.
This is mainly to say thanks but also to give some of my own insight on this. When I was a kid, I loved one shot compilations. So obviously one of my first stories has to be a one shot compilation. Pretty simple, right? Now it's my most popular story. At least on ao3 and wattpad, on fanfiction.net it's The Sun Shines Bright. That doesn't matter too much as all of those will definitely be blown out of the water. What do I mean? Well I hate to be ominous but big things are coming. Not immediately but soon.
However, that's not all. This story was mainly made on a whim. I wanted to make a one shot compilation. So while I was working on my other two stories I made this. Not only that I used this as a place to experiment writing with characters that I was unfamiliar with. For context I got into the Sonic fandom about around 2017-2018. Then sort of left after a bit, I had a mild resurgence. However by the time I came back I learned a lot more. Apparently it wasn't just TV and Video Games, there were comics as well. Which I really got into. Mainly IDW and Fleetway. So sorry if the stories kind of stink. If you want better ones, read my other stuff. It's a lot better than this. Maybe one day I'll remake this stuff or at least edit it so it's better but that would take so long and honestly I simply don't have the time.
I actually was going to do two things before I wrote this letter. The first was the one I originally wrote, this was experimentally saying that I was probably going to make another one shot compilation. Things have changed and if I do, it won't be for a while. So sorry for the people who wanted that. The second one was not posting a chapter at all or at least not until I couldn't think of something. Leaving it probably at 99/100 chapters for a long time if not indefinitely.
That was not a good solution so I did this instead. I pre-write a lot of my work so right now I'm ahead of you guys in terms of my writing but that's so I don't burn out and leave you guys hanging. Also hate to jinx it but it seems I'm immune to the fanfic author's curse or maybe that's why I have so much bad luck.
