  Argos,
I did what I have to do,
Comforted you, cheered you up, made you smile,
But it doesn't filled your satisfaction,
I did my best, but it wasn't enough,
And now, I decided to surrender,
My feelings have died,
Like a withered rose under the sun.

Farewell-
My only love,
My Aphrodite of my heart,
My mistress of my soul,
I have to let go,
It's hard for me to do it,
But, I hope, you are happy,
To the man that belongs to your heart.

I've dried up my tears,
I've treated my wounds,
These wounds will remind me,
That I've failed-
Like Eisenhower in Vietnam;
Even if I committed myself,
Through endless efforts and courage,
It'll never be appreciated.

As I drop my sword,
Raising my hand,
I will leave the battlefield;
Exhausted and deceived,
I proved that I cannot face a giant-
A giant that may kill me in just one blow,
So, farewell, Argos,
The rose among the thorns of my sorrow.

Meynard,
You have proven yourself,
You are worthy indeed,
Her knight in shining armor,
You were chosen among the two of us,
Please take good care of her,
I'm begging you, with all of my heart.

Please, do not make her cry again,
Her feelings is as fragile as ceramic,
Hold her hand, as if there's no more tomorrow,
So, please, take good care of her,
She's yours now-
I have nothing to give,
But this message.

Now it's the right time,
To bid farewell,
Take good care of Argos,
I've dedicated my life to her,
Now, I give this to you,
As a sign of my humble defeat,
And to know that I'm not worthy of her presence.
