When Nick and Zende left, I felt awkward. A handsome stranger was staring dead at me and I just didn't know what to say to him. I guess I could start by asking him how did he know to find me at Forrester's? Or I could thank him for saving me from those creeps last night. Or even-
"Sasha Thompson is it?" He asked. His voice was calm and cool. How did he know my name?
"Yea,"I replied, "that's me." The beautiful man looked at me and I wondered what he was thinking. Was he feeling as awkward as I was right now? "How did you know my name?"
"That's not important," He answered rather briskly. I was starting to think that he probably went through my purse and looked through my I.D's or something. That was the only way that he could've possibly knew my name. He handed me my fringed purse as his long hair fell in his face. "You left this behind."
How did he manage to get my purse back? The last time I checked some stupid fat little slob held it hostage.
"How did you-?" I started.
"You gonna take the purse or what?" The beautiful man asked snappishly. And I thought Nick had a bad ass attitude.
I took my purse from him as I felt my fingers touch his. I guess he also felt it to because he backed a few inches away from me.
"Thank you," I told him. Although his hotness couldn't make up for his attitude, I still should be the better person here. I mean he did save me. "Thank you for saving me and getting my purse back." The man was silent and it felt as though I was talking to myself here. "I really appreciate it."
The man removed his hair from his eyes as he just stared at me. It was a dull unreadable stare that you couldn't tell what he was thinking. Why was he staring so hard? I mean I didn't mind because he was gorgeous and all but at the same time, something seemed strange. I cleared my throat but the man continued to stare.
"So," I said, breaking that awkward silence, "do you have a name that I can call you by?"
"I'm not here to be your friend," He spat. "I just came here to return what was your's not to answer your dumb questions."
Well excuse me Mr. Sassy Pants. "Hey I didn't mean to-"
"I gotta go," the man said as he headed to the exit, his kimono robes billowing behind him. But before I could turn around to stop him from leaving, he was gone. The oddest part of it all was that I didn't even hear his foot steps go up the stairs.

I left Zende's two hundred dollars under his camera before I left Forrester's. Since I got my purse back, I didn't need his money. It was really sweet of him to give me money, which was making it even more harder to back off of him. Even though I told Nick that I would leave Zende alone, I couldn't. I loved him and the sad thing was I still did. The way he listened to what happened to me last night made me feel special. I didn't know how but it just did. I also appreciated how he took pictures of me just to cheer me up. He was an awesome man that I still wanted.
I decided to go to Aunt Viv and Dad's house so that I could tell them what happened last night...if they even cared. I was also trying to keep my promise to Nick so that she could trust me and not hate me like I knew she secretly did. The thing was I didn't hate her. I couldn't.
As I made my way to Dad and Aunt Viv's house, I froze when I saw that they were outside drinking Iced tea and eating Lemon Pie. It wasn't just Dad and Aunt Viv there though, Zende and Nick were there too.
