Every time I looked at Steffy, I was reminded of her father, Ridge, which reminded me how much I hated the Forresters. It sickened me how Caroline and Wyatt married into that disgusting family.

"Steffy wait!" Wyatt called after Steffy after she left the table ever so rudely.

"Let her go son," I said not really caring where that girl went.

I had too much on my mind to care about that annoying girl that Wyatt loved so badly. I wished Brooke could've came to this dinner. She could've sat at the other end of the table and I would just be here admiring her beauty.

"Is she okay?" Cressida asked Wyatt. I looked at Liam who remained quiet, for once.

"A few minutes ago she was," Wyatt replied confused.

"I'm sure Steffy is fine," I said. And even if she wasn't, who cared.

"I sure hope so," Wyatt said concerned.

"Anyway," I said, turning to Cressida, "has anyone ever told you that you look like an African Queen?"

Cressida laughed. She was a bit too good for Liam.

"No Mr. Spencer," She replied, "you'd be the first."

I looked at Wyatt and gave him a look as if to make him ask questions. It was rude of him to be silent.

"So Cressida," Wyatt began, "I get that you're helping Liam with his business and all but what do you do for a living?"

Liam gave Wyatt a harsh look. "Why so personal bro?" He asked getting all defensive.

"I was just asking a simple question Liam," Wyatt told him, "would you relax."

"Wyatt bought up an interesting question," I commented as I turned to Cressida, ignoring Wyatt and Liam. They were getting me sick and I was surprised Cressida didn't feel uncomfortable. "What do you do for a living?"

"Well," Cressida said. "I'm a writer."

"A writer?" Wyatt asked surprised. "No way! I thought you were an actress or something."

Liam rolled his eyes. Was he mad that Cressida was giving Wyatt and I all the attention? If he was then that was too bad.

"Actress? I wish," Cressida said. "The only time I actually acted was back when I was twelve. We were doing a production of All's Well That Ends Well  by Shakespeare and-"

"That's a very complex and weird play," Wyatt replied. I nodded even though I had no idea what they were talking about. "Were you Helen?"

"Not even," Cressida responded. "I was the page boy who just said 'yes madame'."

"Hey, that counts for something," Wyatt told her.

Cressida nodded. "You can say that," She said. Wyatt smiled at her and I was happy. Maybe now he'll stop worrying about Steffy. That smile was a good sign.

"You said that you were a writer right?" I asked Cressida, making sure I wasn't hearing things. She nodded. "What do you write? Plays? Poetry? Novels?"

I was interested to hear all she had to say. Maybe we can add her to work at Spencer Publications. Who knows.

"I usually write plays, articles, anything but poetry," Cressida replied.

I scratched my beard thoughtfully. I liked this young woman. Had Liam not been dated her, I would've taken her myself.

"You sound like a woman with purpose. I like that," I told her. My question was why was she dating Liam?

"Thank you Mr. Spencer," Cressida said.

"Plus you have manner's unlike someone's wife I know," I said glaring at Wyatt. In fact, the whole Forrester's had no manners. They were just pigs.

"Well I'm touched," Cressida said, "not everyone would think that I have manners."

"What do you mean?" Wyatt asked. "You are very polite Cressida. More polite than...than others."

For some reason I had a feeling that Wyatt was going to say something else. I looked at Cressida and then at Wyatt. Now that would be a fine couple. I looked to see how Liam was handling all this because he was too quiet. When I looked up, I froze as I saw that Liam was gone.

"Where did Liam go?" Wyatt asked. So he noticed too.

Cressida turned to the seat beside her and frowned. "That's weird," She said. "He was here a few minutes ago."

"Funny how I didn't even hear him get up or anything," Wyatt said as he put down his pizza. He still didn't finish that slice yet?

"I didn't either," Cressida said. "I guess I was enjoying you and your father's conversation all too much to notice."

Wyatt smiled at her. "Glad you enjoyed the conversation."

I felt my blood pressure rise because I had a feeling where Liam might be. Knowing him, he probably went to find Steffy. I didn't want him near that girl and he goes behind my back and his brother's to see her. He just couldn't keep away.

I got up from my seat and looked at Cressida. "Excuse me," I told her politely. I looked at Wyatt and he nodded to me.  I walked away from Cressida and Wyatt and made my way outside. I swear that if I saw both Liam and Steffy outside together, so help me, I won't be playing Mr. Nice Guy anymore.
