My phone rang, waking me up at three in the morning. I looked at my phone, blurry eyed, and saw that Wyatt was calling me. I didn't want to answer it but I knew he would only keep calling. Wyatt was annoying like that.

"What you want Wyatt?" I asked irritably.

"Well good morning to you to bro," Wyatt's annoying voice greeted and I wanted to hang up. "Have you spoken to Dad since you so rudely kicked Steffy, Cressida and I out of-"

"No," I replied shortly, interrupting him. I had no intentions on speaking to that hypocrite  that we called dad.  "Why?"

"What did you do to him?" The butt kisser asked.

"You do know that's none of your business...right?" I reminded him. "That's between me and the old man, not you."

"It is my business bro," Wyatt said. "He's my dad too you know."

"Why do you care about Dad all of a sudden Wyatt?" I questioned. "Last time I checked, Dad didn't like you much because you reminded him of that evil woman named Quinn." As soon as I said that name I felt angry. Every time I thought of Quinn I was reminded that if it wasn't for her I would have been Steffy's husband, not Wyatt.

"Leave my mother out of this!" Wyatt yelled nearly making me go deaf on the phone.

"How can I?" I asked irritably. "She ruined my life with Steffy."

"If I must remind you Liam, your life with Steffy was already ruined before my mom came into the picture," Wyatt replied like the smart ass he was.

"That's not the point," I said testily. "Steffy should be here with me, not you."

"Said  the person who has a nice girlfriend," Wyatt remarked and that was when I froze. The butt kisser was right. I did have a nice and beautiful girlfriend. She couldn't replace Steffy no matter how much I wanted her to.

"Y-Y-You think Cressida's nice?" I asked calming myself down a bit.

"Almost too nice for you Liam," Wyatt said. "But even if she is,  I'm glad you actually found someone to make you happy."

"Yea yea," I said, "are you done talking yet?"

Wyatt took in a heavy breath. "I was thinking that- if you wanted to- Steffy, Cressida, you and I could go out for donuts or something." Did he just say Steffy ? "But since you're not really much of a person who likes to go anywhere maybe-"

"Sure," I replied. I wouldn't mind seeing Steffy again. Her face never bores me...unlike Wyatt's.

"Would you actually come though Liam?" Wyatt asked tiredly. "Because your the type to bail out as soon as the event happens."

      "Yes," I answered simply.

"I'll take your word for it," Wyatt said. Judging by the tone of his voice, he still seemed like he didn't believe me. "How does tomorrow sound before we go in for work?"

       "Good...I guess," I told him.

"Great. Let Cressida know about this and I'll arrange a time," Wyatt replied. I nodded even though it wasn't like Wyatt could see me nod. "And by the way, if you so happen to get in touch with Dad, let him know that Caroline has invited us all to her birthday party Friday." As soon as Wyatt mentioned Caroline's birthday to me,  I felt like a terrible cousin. I completely forgot that her birthday was Friday. "I can't believe that I almost forgot that her birthday's this coming Friday. Good thing Steffy reminded me a few minutes ago." I was glad that I wasn't the only one who almost forgot Caroline's birthday.

"Did Steffy tell you what Caroline's doing for her birthday this year?" I wondered. "Don't tell me it's another beach party?" Truth was I wanted it to be another beach party so I could see Steffy in her bathing suit.

"Far from it," Wyatt replied, "she's having a masquerade ball themed party instead."

"What!?" I asked in shock. Was Steffy talking to the right Caroline?

"Exactly how I felt when Steffy told me this," Wyatt said, "guess she wanted to change it up for the summer." I guess she did. "Feel free to invite Cressida to that as well. I'm sure everyone would love to meet her as Dad and I did." Maybe I will  bring Cressie to Caroline's masquerade party. I'm pretty sure she will be the prettiest one there alongside Steffy. "Still there bro?"

        "Yea," I replied dully.

"Okay then, guess I'll see you and Cressida tomorrow."

"Yea," I replied. And I hoped to see Steffy there as well. Wyatt clicked off and I tossed my phone onto the couch. The couch!? That couldn't be right. I turned to my right and realized that I had fallen asleep on my couch.  I could've sworn that I was in my bed.

The door bell rung and I wondered who could that be so early in the morning? I slowly got up and as I did, I felt something cold on my pants middle. I looked down as I saw a huge wet spot at my crotch, looking as though I peed myself. A bottle of Brandy was at my feet and you didn't know how embarrassed I felt that I didn't close back that Brandy bottle properly. The door bell rung again.

        "Liam, it's me Cressida."

I swore this was a nightmare. What was she doing here? You know, I bet this was all Wyatt's fault. He was the one who kept talking about her and what you know, she appears. She couldn't see me like this.

"I'm coming," I called after her as I quickly took off my pants, revealing my stripped boxers. But that was no good either because the Brandy stain leaked through my pants and onto the boxers. You know what, forget this. I went over to the door and opened it. Cressida was standing there in a white silken maxi dress holding a small bag in her hand. She looked amazing!

"Mind if I spend the night? Or should I say the morning?" She asked. She was already here and it wasn't like I could say no to that beautiful face.

"Of course! Why don't you come on in," I told her. Cressie smiled as she walked in like an angel coming down from the heavens. I closed the door behind her and gave her a quick kiss. "You look great."

"So do you," Cressie replied. We looked at each other and I don't know why I felt shy and awkward. "Nice legs by the way."

For a minute there I forgot that I was only in my boxers and dress shirt. Well this was embarrassing. I caressed Cressie's  arm with my finger, trying to hide my embarrassment. "You like hairy men I see," I said softly.

"Only if they are as handsome as you," Cressida replied as she leaned into me. I quickly pulled away from her because I didn't want my Brandy wet stained boxers to rub against her dress.

"Let me go take a shower and change," I told her, "we'll pick up from where we started when I get back."

"Sure thing," Cressie said. I kissed her hand and then made my way over to the shower. I looked back at Cressie as she sat down on the couch, waiting for me to return. I wish that she could stay here with me forever.
