Lord only knows what disaster went on in Spencer's office. I guess it was nothing good and not my business to know. Then again Logan was involved so technically it was my business. I took Katie to Forrester's because apparently she was acting up when we were at Spencer's. I needed her to tell me what the hell went on in there and why was she acting like a mad bad baboon like her ex husband, Bill. Katie was a sweet woman and I wanted to know what ticked her off.

"I hate them Ridge," She said as she stormed into my office. "I hate them so much."

I closed the door behind me and looked at Katie. "You do know that hate is a very strong word."

"I know," Katie replied, "but Brooke and Bill deserve to be hated. I mean after they-"

"What went on in Spencer's office?" I asked bluntly. Katie looked at me as though I had foul breath as I came close to her. "Why was Logan on the floor?"

"I  put that bitch there," Katie said coldly. "It's where she belongs."

"Stop it Katie," I said in a warning tone. Katie's eyes narrowed as she shook her head at me.

"Stop what?" She asked. Stop being a pig was what I wanted to say but I remembered that Spencer was the true pig. "Wait, I get it. It's because you still love my blonde slut of a sister that you're getting all defensive. Aint that right Ridge?"

She was right that I did love Logan. Even when I was married to Taylor, Steffy and Thomas's mother, I still loved Logan. She was my destiny and I hope I was her's.

"It's not your concern to know who I love and who I don't," I said sternly avoiding Katie's rude remark, "I just want to know why you were threatening death to your sister?"

"She nearly killed me with my bad heart when she claimed that there was nothing going on between her and Bill," Katie explained looking so angry as she spoke. I cocked my head to the side as she continued, "Thought I would return the favor by strangling her with Bill's phone cord. After all,  she loves him and I thought to kill her with something that belonged to the man that she loves."

"But that's where you're wrong Katie," I said in defense as though she had insulted me, "firstly, Brooke doesn't  love Bill." Or so I hoped. "Secondly yo- wait, you tried to strangle her with a phone cord?" Katie nodded as if what she said was completely normal. Reminded me much of my mother; aggressive yet proud at the same time. "Tell me, does that sound normal to you?"

"Not normal," Katie answered. "I call it vengeance."

And I call it madness! I scratched my beard and I realized that Katie wasn't the Katie that we all knew and loved. She was insane and I understood why Bill was going to divorce her.

"Tell me something Katie, did Bill ever return Will to you?" I wondered.

"Yea why?" She asked as she looked at me in disgust.

"He shouldn't have," I said curtly. Katie looked at me in shock as though I said something totally wrong.

"And why not?" She demanded. "I mean I am his mother and-"

"You're not well Katie!" I yelled. "Not well physically and not well mentally. How the hell is that little boy gonna grow up right when his mother is a complete loon!? If you ask me he's better off with his father, better yet with your sister."

Katie's round face went red with anger. "You have no right to say such things! You know nothing Ridge!"

"Oh I know everything Katie," I said as I looked at her. "You need help."
