"And this is the last box of Steffy's jewelry," Wyatt said as he placed a large brown box in front of me. His eyes were red and puffy as though he had been crying. He needed to man up and face reality.
"Be honest with me for a second, Wyatt," I said as Wyatt sniffed, "did you really think that you and Steffy would last?"
"At this point I really don't want to discuss Steffy and me right now," Wyatt said as he looked sadly into the distance.
"She belongs with Liam, you do know that right?" I asked as I glared at him.
"Never knew Steffy was a pet and had an owner," Wyatt remarked. And he wondered why my sister left him.
"You hurt her Wyatt. You hurt my sister," I told him. Wyatt slowly turned to me, giving me an annoyed look. "You didn't believe her when she tried to explain about your mother and Cressida's plan to kill Liam and-"
"Okay firstly, Thomas, before you jump to conclusions, my mother and Cressida would never hurt anyone," Wyatt defended.
"Really? Because I swore that your mother was always trying to kill Liam and-"
"And she never succeeded," Wyatt finished as he scowled at me. "Can we drop this topic please."
"We're not dropping anything because you refuse to hear the truth," I said irritably. "I get that Quinn's your mother and all but what about Cressida?"
"What about her?" Wyatt asked flatly.
"Why do you defend her?" I questioned. "Why don't you believe that it's a possibility that she could be working for your mom?"
"Because she isn't!" Wyatt replied. "She seems like a nice person and I don't see why you or Steffy would think otherwise when you both don't know her."
"True, Steff and I don't know her but I believe my sister," I said as Wyatt continue to look out the window. "This Cressida appeared out of the blue and nobody knows much about her. You don't find that odd?"
"What are you trying to get at, Thomas?!" Wyatt demanded to know. "Did you come to get Steffy's stuff or to question me?"
"So you're not going to answer my question?"
"The person who you should be asking these questions to is Liam, not me," Wyatt said. "Cressida is his girlfriend and would know much more about her than I." He was right about that. I took up Steffy's boxes because I didn't want to talk anymore to Wyatt. We wern't friends and he was boring after all. I wondered what Steffy saw in him...then again I wondered what Caroline saw in Dad.

I couldn't help but to admire how beautiful the outside of the Forrester mansion was looking. Flamboyant chain lights that looked like a pearl necklace rested on our trees. A long satin covered table with plenty of seats greeted me with a cream pavilion shading it. Behind each seat rested a gold or silver rapier sword. What was the purpose of the swords, I wondered.
I placed Steffy's boxes down beside me and went over to check out the rapiers. I pulled out a gold rapier sword and I felt like I was King Arthur pulling out Excalibur. The sword was heavy yet fascinated at the same time. These swords must have cost Dad a fortune, especially if all the guest would have a sword of their own. I waved the sword into the air to see how it would feel to actually wield one in real life.
