"You," I said venomously to Cressida as soon she came through the door, "your the reason that Steffy knows about our plan!"
"What?" She asked innocently.
"What?" I mocked. "Oh don't play dumb Cressida. You probably were too busy fantasizing about the neanderthal to even consider your surroundings. Knowing that wretched Steffy, she probably followed you here."
"Firstly, Liam isn't a neanderthal," the silly girl defended, "secondly, I know you're not blaming me over something that I had no control over."
"I am blaming you Cressida." I replied holding back my anger, "not only does Steffy know about our plan but Wyatt does too." Cressida gasped as I mocked her gasp.
"Wyatt knows?" Cressida asked in shock as she nervously ran her hand down her arm. I stared at her and said nothing as she turned to face me. "Ms Fuller I honestly wouldn't have thought something like this would happen. I-"
"I didn't think that you would be stupid enough to actually fall for Liam as I specifically told you not to," I said, "but it happened. I didn't think that Steffy would ever leave my son but it happened. I didn't think that my son would threaten to turn me into the police but it happened. All these things happened because of you!"
"I-I-I-I didn't know that-"
"Well now you know," I spat as Cressida looked away from me. "I had faith in you Cressida. I thought you would be the one to help me save my son from heart break. Turns out you did more harm than good."
"You're not being fair," Cressida said sternly as she gave me a solemn look.
"And you're not using your brain," I retorted. "I gave you two chances Cressida. Two chances to kill Liam and you didn't."
"I couldn't," Cressida answered shortly.
"Due to matters of your fickle heart, I presume."
"He loves me Ms Fuller!" Cressida shouted as I stared at her dully. "He loves me so much that he is willing to make a vow of everlasting love to me tonight at the party that he invited me to. Don't you see?"
"The only thing I see is that you forgot all about your sick grandmother," I told her. "I'd think you be less focused on looking for love with someone who you hardly know and more focused about saving your grandmother." Cressida was silent as she should be as I continued, "I tried to help you Cressida. I tried giving you a job but you blew it. I'm afraid that I have to let you go after the masquerade ball."
"L-L-L-Let me go?" Cressida stammered as if what I was saying was foreign.
"You already did your part and I won't be needing you after tonight so you might as well enjoy your last days with Liam while he's still alive," I explained.
"You're not going to hurt him," Cressida said as she gave me what seemed to be her idea of a vicious look, "Ms Fuller if you lay a hand on him I-"
I took up one of my rubies and shoved it in the annoying girls face, interrupting her thoughts.
"You see this ruby here," I said and I was automatically taken back to the time I worked at Forresters. I worked with Ivy, Eric's niece, in designing jewelry. I made a lot of beautiful necklaces that I'm sure are still around as we speak. Before I left, I managed to take some stones, especially rubies, to later pawn for money. Hope Eric didn't hate me too much for that. "These belonged to the Forrester's. As beautiful as they look they're also worth a lot." Cressida folded her arms across her chest as I continued, "Three rubies will definitely be enough for your grandmother's surgery. So unless you behave and stop your nonsense, the rubies will be all yours." There was no where in hell that I would give Cressida my rubies. If it meant that she would shut up then I hope she was convinced. Cressida was silent and I knew that I had her right where I wanted. Vulnerable she was and she should remain that way until after the masquerade party. "Now this is what you're going to do Cressida, you are going to get dressed for the party and you are going to make your way to the Forrester mansion with Liam. Your dress is already layed out on the bed for you as well as your accessories." It was a pretty dress that I did pick out for the girl who didn't even deserve it. "I will arrive later to the party to instruct you further."
