Chapter 59-A Dull-Witted Plan

Chapter 59

"Wake up, sleepy head!"

"Hmmm..." I ignored the voice. I love my bed so much I don't want to leave it.

"Hey Eve. The queen is calling all the Safronov agents for a meeting. Wake up!" Niyugyog niya na ko pero nanatili pa rin akong nakapikit.

"Go there then and leave me alone."

"EVE! SI RADIMIR HENDERSON, NADAKIP NA NG SAFRONOV!"

"WHAT!?" Napabangon ako ng wala sa oras. Sobrang nagising ang dugo ko na pakiramdam ko ay binuhusan ako nang malamig na tubig.

Only to find out that this woman in front of me is tricking me. I just glared at her and murmured, "I'll kill you."

"Yeah. Whatever. But before you kill me, take a bath first. We still have thirty minutes before the meeting. Get up and go!"

Wala na akong nagawa kung hindi ang sundin si Yvonne. What will I do without this girl in my life?

Pagkarating namin ng palasyo ay pumasok agad kami sa headquarters. Umupo kami sa kaniya-kaniya naming desks. Ilang minuto pa ang aming hinintay bago dumating si Queen Callisha. Yumuko kaming lahat sa kaniyang direksyon hanggang makaupo siya sa harapan.

The queen is smiling from ear to ear. That is her face everytime she has a great plan. And I have a feeling that her great plan... would not be so great for my sake.

"Good morning agents! It's a very good day, isn't?" Halatang halata ang sigla sa boses ngayon ng reyna. Para bang siguradong sigurado na siya na magtatagumpay ang plano namin.

"For the good news, our new pier agent already formed a plan to defeat the Asad of Tenebrous. Agent Jackson, I'm giving you the floor."

As Jackson walks infront, envy creeps to my system. Ako dapat yun. Ako dapat ang nasa posisyon niya. But thinking that I would be the one to make a plan to defeat Rad, I must say I'm glad I didn't accept the position.

"Hello agents!" Kinakabahan si Jackson sa harapan pero halatang masayang masaya siya. "May plano na tayo para mahuli ang leon ng Tenebrous. Pinag-usapan na namin ito ng reyna. Magplaplano tayo ng isang patibong para sa kaniya. At sa bawat patibong, kailangan ng pain." Tumingin si Jackson sa direksyon ko kaya napatingin na rin ang lahat ng agents sa akin. "Kailangan ka namin sa misyong ito, Agent Eve."

I looked helplessly at Yvonne. She's the only one who can understand me right now. She just nodded at me encouragingly. I breathed deeply and looked back at Jackson.

"Sorry but I can't." Lahat sila ay nagulat sa sagot ko. Kumunot ang noo ni Jackson.

"Why not?"

I swallowed the lump in my throat before I speak. "He already held me captive. I know what he is capable of. I knew his strength. I cannot fight him."

"Don't worry baby Eve. You will not fight him physically." Napadako ang aming paningin kay Tito Adan.

"You know about this plan Tito Adan?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko.

"Yes Anak. And it's a great plan." I sighed in defeat. I keep on repeating our maxim in my mind. Safronov first, ourselves last. Safronov first, ourselves last.

"So what do you want me to do?" Tanong ko habang nanghihina ang mga tuhod ko. Ano bang inaarte ko? Simula palang eto naman na talaga ang plano diba? Ang matalo ang Tenebrous.

Kinaskas ni Jackson ang kaniyang mga palad na para bang kating kati na siyang ipaalam sa amin ang plano.

"Makikipagkasundo tayo sa mga Morgan para matupad ang misyon."
