Katie's P.O.V
I was finishing getting ready when I checked my outfit out in the mirror. I had on a white, halter-top, bodysuit with a peace symbol made out of dainty, handdrawn daisies on the chest along with heavily distressed, light denim shorts, and solid white Nike Air Force 1's. I decided on no makeup as I was hot enough from the humidity and left my hair down in large, messy, waves. Gabbie was wearing a black crop-top, t-shirt underneath a pair of oversized overalls and matching shoes with minimal makeup as well. She was currently throwing her hair up into a loose ponytail when she smiled. "You look cute! Wanna grab an Uber with us?"
"Want to? No thank you." I laughed sarcastically. "I'm actually going in Elton's rental."
"When are you going to tell me what happened last night? I thought everything was chill." I gave Gabbie a look as she knew I was sworn to secrecy. "Fine. I get it, whatever. But... I thought you guys were really going to be getting back together, honestly. We all did."
"You're not the only one." I mumbled, grabbing my black backpack quickly and throwing it on my back. "I'll see you there, girl. Text me and I'll meet you wherever."*****
I was currently singing along to Four Year Strong with Elton, something that only the girls would do with me in the car. I began laughing when he turned down the radio, parking in the large garage. I frowned stretching as I took my seatbelt off. Before Elton could get out of the car, I held onto his upper arm, and leaned my head on it smiling. He looked down, confused, before laughing when I spoke. "I'm so tired! I don't want to walk more."
He threw his arm around my shoulders and I laid on his chest, gripping onto his shirt so he wouldn't move. He began to twirl the ends of my hair and I felt him smiling as he spoke. "We could just go back to my room. I mean... This isn't required. It's just a treat from YouTube."
Before I could speak, Gabbie texted me to meet her in Simpson World. I showed Elton and he sighed as I pushed myself off of him and out of the car. Before I could take more than a step, he jogged behind the car and in front of me, putting his hands lightly on my hips. He smirked before going down to my neck and beginning to leave light kisses trailing up to just below my ear as I spoke. "You know... As much as I want to... We aren't supposed to be pulling this shit anymore."
"I'm single. You're... Whatever you're doing. I don't see a problem." I pulled Elton back, trying to hold back a smile. He threw his arms over his head, sighing dramatically. "Fine! Fine... Just promise me one thing?" He raised an eyebrow and I stayed silent for him to speak. "If you do want to do... This. You'll let me know."
"How about I do you one better and set you up with one of my friends from Clever." I smirked, referring to a research analyst I had befriended at the YouTube network. "Big boobs, big brain, and a big heart. What do you say?"
"I wish I was more reluctant to say no, but you had me at boobs." Elton joked. "Fine. I'll play gentleman... Or wingman." I raised an eyebrow as we began to walk out of the garage and towards the park. "Don't act like you went with me for shits and giggled. I know you did it to spite Heath."
"Thank you." I laughed. "But that's only seventy-five percent of the reason. The rest is because I do kind of enjoy your company."
"You enjoy giving me blue balls and receiving head and that's all, you sick bitch." I dropped my jaw as Elton laughed at himself, earning a playful slap to his chest.
