My heart began to pulse in my ears as I took a sip of my own glass before repouring it. "Uhm, sure. What the hell happened?"
"I saw Scott fucking a girl with crappy, pastel pink hair in the shower this morning." Amber spat out as if it was poison. My jaw dropped as she continued. "That was my face too, girl. I had come to just pick up the merch Scott had promised me for Will and I. I'm shocked still. I don't know if I should tell Kristen..."
"Don't. I mean, you should. I mean... You're sure it was Scott?" Amber shook her head quickly, yes. I sighed, picking up the glasses to begin to head back to the living room. "Keep your mouth shut for now. I'll see if Heath knows anything and I'll let you know."
I walked back to the girls quickly, handing out the glasses I had refilled before returning to my seat. I threw the throw blanket over my legs and recliners back in my chair as I listened mildly to Liza speaking. I picked up my phone, seeing Heath had texted me.
I smiled, seeing he sent me a photo of him holding Charlie as they watched television. He than sent a message with a dozen smiley face emojis with the little, pinky blushed cheeks saying how he was a great wine and SVU cuddle buddy. I typed back, as I smiled reminding him how thankful I was for him puppy-sitting.
"Oh my god! Corinna is coming for me! Did you see she dyed her hair pink on Snapchat?" Carly said, scoffing. "I hadn't seen her morning posts until now. Is she having a crisis?"
Amber and I locked eyes across the rooms, mid sip of our drinks. I didn't need to hear her say it when I saw the look of sheer terror on her face. My stomach began to churn and I looked down as everyone spoke amongst themselves, seeing Gabbie had messaged me from beside me. She questioned if I was okay and I quickly said I would tell her later, before texting Heath and telling him we need to discuss something in the morning.
