I woke up to the sound of Heath's heavy breathing coming from behind my neck. I rolled over cautiously, though, that did not disturb him a peep. His eyes scrunched together tightly, his breathing quickening. Placing a hand over his chest, I knelt down to kiss the side of his neck lightly until his breathing leavened. I felt his hands wrap around my waist, pulling me closer to his chest as he grumbled. "Morning, beautiful."
The feeling of Heath kissing the top of my head sent a shock wave down my spine, causing heat to rise up my cheeks. I tossed my leg over his, propping myself up to straddle him. Placing both hands on his chest, I watched a small smirk slowly appear on his lips. He traced circles in the sides of my forearm before lightly dragging his fingertips down to meet my hands. He picked them up, intertwining his fingers with mine and swaying them back and forth as I spoke. "Did you still want to go to the mall today?"
Heath smiled brightly, pulling me down to be closer his face, though our hands never broke apart. I kissed him lightly before he spoke against my lips. "I'll go anywhere you want me to, baby girl."
I rolled off of him, feeling a light slap on my backside as I did so. I turned around to see Heath smiling proudly, his shirtless top half being the only part exposed as he pulled my blanket up to his belly button. I shook my head, trying to hide my smile, as I grabbed my outfit for the day. I chose to keep it simple with only a pair of black leggings and a burgundy shirt from Scott's merch line that I had cut into a crop top. I walked down the stairs, feeling Heath close behind me as I headed into the bathroom to shower. Before closing the door, I saw Heath grab his glasses from the kitchen island where he left the purposely the night before, starting to brew coffee for us.*****
Heath wrapped an arm around me from behind, grabbing a shirt I had been looking at from a higher rack. I smiled, taking it from him, and examining it. It was a light blue camisole that seemed more appropriate for a bank teller. I scrunched my nose, handing it back to Heath to put back. He smiled, placing it back on the wrack as I broke away from him to look at other items in the middle of Urban Outfitters. I soon spotted a top that had a clear cutout on the bottom, though was built like a regular shirt as it looked like a plain, red t-shirt from the bellybutton and up. I smiled brightly, grabbing my size, only to hear a mumble from Heath. I turned around, raising an eyebrow behind me. "Can I help you?"
Heath out his hands up in self defense, shrugging. "I'm not saying it's hideous, but I'm saying we have very different sense in style."
I looked Heath up and down, examining his outfit. "Heath, baby... You're wearing a Hawaiian shirt tucked into khaki cargo shorts with a fucking black fanny back. I'm not listening to you tell me how to dress."
I laughed at the look of hurt on Heath's face when he did an exaggerated puppy pout. I rested my hands on his chest, standing on my tippy toes to kiss him through my smile. He laughed, returning the kiss before I dropped down to my normal height and began to search through the endless supply of jeans along a long rack on the right side of the store. I soon found the infamous plastic knee-hole boyfriend jeans that I had been eyeing for some time and quickly scooped them up, ignoring the look on Heath's face as I did so. Before I could make a snide comment, a younger voice called my name from behind us. Spinning around, a brunette with boxer braids and an all black skater dress with matching black sandals scurried up to us. "Katie? Oh my god, hi! It is you! My name is Beth!" She hugged me immediately and I wrapped my arms around her waist as she towered a few inches above me. "And, wow! Heath! Hi!"
Heath gave her a one armed hug, smiling cheerfully at the girl's enthusiasm. "Hey! How are you?"
I smiled as the girl began to speak nervously. "I'm, ugh, I'm just looking around, ya know? Doing some random shopping. I'm good, though! I didn't expect to see three YouTubers in one shopping trip, wow!"
"Four YouTubers?" I asked, looking between Heath and Beth.
"Yeah, I saw Brennen Taylor and Andrea Russett down near the Thai place in the food court." The girl giggled. "I didn't disturb them though, they were looking... Anyway, can I get a picture?"
I was slightly annoyed at how Beth didn't finish her sentence, though I knew what she was hinting at, I just wanted verbal proof. "Looking like what? Like..."
"They looked like they were on a date." Beth shrugged, getting the camera app on her phone ready. Before I had time to process what she said, she wrapped an arm around my shoulders and smiled for the camera. She did the same to Heath who had the same shocked expression on his face as I did. Though, Beth didn't seem to mind as she thanked us for our time. "You guys are the best! Seriously, thank you. Have a good day!"
"You too, baby!' Heath called as sh pranced away, smiling down at the photos on her phone's screen. Heath turned to me, a state of panic whipping over his face. "Pay for this shit and run?"
I shoved my clothing at Heath, beginning to walk away. "You pay and I'll Venmo you. I'll go check it out so you don't end up in jail. Meet you at the fountain when you're done. I love you." I kissed him before he had time to object and ran off and out of the store towards Brennen and Andrea.
