I was immediately greeted by three figures, dressed head to toe in black. I felt the guys behind me, Zane grabbing my right arm as if to tell me to lower the gun. My eyes flickered to the two male figures in the living room who appeared to had video cameras in their hands. Upon them noticing the gun, the one standing in the kitchen ripped off his ski mask, screaming. "It's me! It's me! Don't shoot! It's me!"
My jaw locked as I felt my finger dance on the trigger still. To much resistance, Zane had me lower my arm, grabbing the weapon from my grasp. My hands white knuckles into fists as I charged ahead, David's screams being the last thing I heard before I connected with his jaw and blacked out.

     Katie's P.O.V
I heard screaming, immediately lunging for the door. I felt Gabbie grab my arm to pull me back, but I elbowed her in the chest to get away. I darted towards the screaming, Zane standing over the screaming boys. Kam was in another screaming match, yelling loudly at Jonah and Dom who were dressed in what looked like cheap bank robbing outfits.
"Gun!" Gabbie screamed dramatically, causing me to smack her in the arm. She looked at me angrily until she realized I didn't want the entire apartment complex to call the police.
I ignored her as I cautiously walked up to Zane's side, watching him stand over what looked like David and Heath fighting. I placed my arm on his, causing him to jerk, before he realized it was me. He let out a shaker breath as I reached for the gun in his hands, slowly pulling it away. The moment it was in my hand, I looked up into his eyes. I never broke contact as I gave the gun to Gabbie. "Safe in the desk. My birthday is the combo. Now."
Gabbie ran into the room as I focused back on Heath and David. David whimpered, attempting to block his face but to no avail. I couldn't tell if Heath's knuckles were bloody from the piece of broken flesh near David's chin where his knuckle ripped out an imprint or from how hard he was wailing on him. He straddled him, grabbing ahold of his chest, and clammed the back of his head on the ground with such force I thought the wood had shattered. "That's enough!"
Zane grabbed the back of Heath's shirt, trying to catch a grip on him. He lost it, stumbling backwards, before Kam ran over. He ripped Heath back by his hairs, flinging him onto his back with a loud thud, and looking over a haggard David. "Hey? Hey, man? Can you hear me? Someone call an ambulance."
"On it." Jonah said, pulling out his phone from his back pocket quickly.
"Don't." David whimpered our. "I'm fine. Don't. I don't want him in trouble."
"Oh, now you care about us, you fucking pussy?" Heath got up, going to lunge again. Zane and Kam blocked him off from David as he continued to scream. "You're lucky I didn't pull the trigger, bitch! You're fucking lucky!"
     "Heath-"
"He's been planning this shit, Katie!" Heath screamed in my face, spitting flying from his mouth like a dog with rabies. "He's been plotting to scare the fuck out of us for months. The window, the notes, everything! He's been fucking planning this!"
"Is that true?" I looked at David who had slowly risen to his feet. He slung his right arm around Dom to steady himself. His hair was matted from the slamming and partial blood in the back of his head, covering his eyes. He was looking down and then rose up at the end of my sentence. His left eye was already swollen shut and his chin definitely could use a few stretches. I felt my anger wash through my body with every step I took to get closer to him. As I was face to face, I spoke in a slow, angst tone. "Is thy true?"
"I didn't know it would go this far and-"
I whacked David in the side of the head with my fist, causing him to double over and clutch his head as his ears began to ring. I felt my face go hot as I held back tears, biting the inside of my cheek. I turned on my heel, walking towards Heath's bedroom as I called over my shoulder. "Kick him out on the curb and leave him there to rot."
