"It's like he's bipolar or he's talking to another person," Michael explained to Calum who was trying to get some work done. "Like in one verse he's over the top romantic and then he just wants sex."

Luke liked to lie to himself that he wasn't listening to their conversations but he couldn't help it. How could he not listen to Michael Clifford? Especially when Michael mentioned sex. And to a fourteen-year-old, that was something worth paying attention to.

"And the course is something completely different again. I don't know what they were thinking when they wrote it."

"They wrote it separately." Before Luke could stop himself the words flew out of his mouth.

This time even Calum paid attention and turned back to where Luke was sitting behind them. Luckily their teacher was too old to either see or hear what was going on in the class.

"What do you mean?" Michael asked and Luke could have sworn he could feel himself blushing. The older boy had never talked to him before.

"Umm... I'm sorry I was listening to your conversation. But if you're talking about the song Feeling this by Blink the story goes that Mark and Tom decided on a topic to wrote about and wrote it separately and then combined it into one. That's why it's a bit.. bipolar I guess."

The way Michael was staring at him like his words are the most important thing he learned in this school made him surprisingly comfortable.

"You're Luke Hemmings, right? You sing."

Luke nodded. He wasn't a shy person, not about his singing. But he heard Michael's criticize songs he absolutely loved before so he knew he was a tough critic.

"You should come to my house someday. We could sing it together. If you'd want to, of course."

"Sure." Luke smiled.

"Okay, great." Michael turned forward and Luke looked at Calum who was grinning at him. He turned forward as well and poked Michael with his elbow, he was grinning at him as well.

Luke could see Michael's cheeks were a bit pinker than before and smiled to himself.
