Michael rolled his eyes, of course, she had to mention Luke. No one was happier than her after they finally got together after a few years of heart eye looks and drunk make-out sessions.

Speaking of his boyfriend, Michael had barely seen him all evening and he had to make sure he wasn't too drunk already.

"Michael!" Just as he spotted his smiley and super-hot, long-legged Luke, Michael turned in interest to see who was calling his name.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" He smiled widely and hugged his old friend Caleb. Michael's first fling when they moved to LA, a DJ that played music in a club near their house.

"Heard there was a party so I decided to say hello."

He looked good, Caleb was as tall as him, brown-skinned and facial structure that weakened an eighteen-year-old Michael's knees.

They talked for a while, Michael learned Caleb just had a club tour in Europe and is happily engaged to his boyfriend of two years. Since it was crowded in Ashton's house and probably out of habit they had to stand really close to each other so they could hear what the other one was speaking.

"Hey, dude." Out of nowhere Calum appeared and shook Caleb's hand before whispering into Michael's ear. "Your Lukey's been staring at you two for the past ten minutes, and if looks could kill..."

Michael stopped Calum before he could say anything and nodded. "Thank you, Cal."

Caleb laughed even though he had no idea what the two friends were talking about. "You know that's what you used to call me."

Michael laughed and grabbed Caleb's elbow before he leads him out of the room and towards the kitchen. "Not to be rude but I have a very jealous and needy boyfriend who's been not so kindly looking at us."

"Oh, sorry dude. I didn't know you had someone. I mean not that there's anything going on between us but I'd be a bit less intrusive."

When they were out of Luke's sight. "Don't worry about it. You actually know him, it's Luke."

The grin on Caleb's face was almost identical to most of their friends when they found out about muke finally getting together.

"Dude, that's amazing."

Michael bit his lip and blushed a bit. "It is. Thank you, look I'll go and find out my jealous boyfriend, and maybe sometime this week we can go on a double date with your fiancé if it wouldn't be too weird for you."

"That sounds great actually, he's a fan of your music so I'm sure he'd love to meet you."

They hugged and Michael returned to the living room, Luke was no longer there and Michael made his way towards the second floor to where bedrooms were. Before they got together Luke lived with Ashton and Michael knew exactly where he was.

He didn't bother to knock and when he opened the door he found Luke exactly where he knew he'd be. "Hi, I'm looking for my boyfriend, have you seen him anywhere?"

Luke, who was sitting on the bed with a glass in one hand and a phone in his other hand, looked up with an unamused look. "Are you sure you're not looking for your ex-boyfriend?"

Michael smiled. "Nah, I like, actually love my current one a lot. He's also much more beautiful and a better fit for me. The only problem is..." Michael closed the door and walked towards Luke. "He tends to get jealous for no reason and forgets how much his boyfriend loves him."

Luke smiled a bit but still refused to look at Michael.

Michael patiently took the glass Luke was holding and places it on the nearby table. He took Luke's hand a pulled him up so they were eye to eye.

"You looked happy when you were talking to him."

"I was happy," Michael admitted. "Happy to see my old friend and happy because he's doing well with his music, happy that he's happily in love and came by to say hello."

"Oh."

Michael laughed. "Yes, oh. We've only dated for a few months and I never told you this but the reason we broke up was that he said it was clear I had feelings for someone else."

Luke blinked and opened his mouth in surprise. "But you two dated four years ago."

"Exactly."

"You liked me for so long?"

Michael nodded and pulled the taller man closer. "You're enchanting."

Luke rolled his eyes and leaned his head on Michael's shoulder. "M'sorry." He mumbled quietly.

The older man hugged him and kissed his exposed neck. "It took a while to get together but that doesn't change the fact that I love you, Luke."

Luke raised his head and kissed his boyfriend. "I love you too."
